and its live!!!!! For the first time...this song is sung completly live the entire way through! Sounded better prerecorded. I hate to say that...I really do, but her voice is straining the entire song. Makes me sad to see her voice isnt in the best form for the taping...in anycase it was really cool to see another part from the dvd.

That performance is the only reason I bought the cd/dvd version the other three are lipped ones and the AND material I guess we've seen ost of already...

Haha ok...Maybe I take back what I said just a bit. I have rewatched it 3 times. She sounds really good, just alittle bit tired though. I will say this though. When celine is being filmed for a concert, Live in Memphis, Au Couer du Stade, or for a tv special she really is very careful. She sings by the book and usually doesnt go all out like she does when there arent any cameras present. I went to the DVD taping and noticed that she was more focused and less..hmm how do i put this..she didnt do alot of adlibbing or riffs like I have seen her do at A New Day before. I also noticed that she actually seemed alittle bit nervous and more laid back for the filming. I guess what I am saying is Celine is very professional and by the book for filmings. When you see her live without cameras..its different. Does anyone feel the same way I do..or has anyone else noticed this? With that being said..from the clips I have seen from this DVD..it looks amazing, it is filmed extremely well, and they capture the magic of the show in the best way possible. I am very very very pleased so far with what I have seen. So no worries, even know celine looks alittle nervous and doesnt go all out...she still is amazing in this DVD and it will be a awesome document of the show. Celine is most definitely the best singer in the world today. No doubt.

WOW it seems that I Surrender is totally live for the DVD - when I was there only the first part was live - the end bit and all the high notes were lipped as they were exactly like the album.

Maybe this has been asked before, but does anyone know if there will be a French and an English version of the DVD? Because here in Holland they sell both versions (www.bol.com), the English one is more expensive than the French one. And if there are 2 different versions, will the bonus-material be different as well? Because I know there were fans that were interviewed in French as well. And remember the D'elles-special? They showed footage of Céline and René in the limo (where Céline was talking like a cartoon-figure) and they were also talking in French that time. The footage we have seen now, is all in English! I thought the French people could watch the English version with subtitles (like on the bonus-DVD of Taking Chances). But now I am having doubts. I am so curious to know if there will be 2 completely different versions???? :hmm:

I totally agree.

I was at the DVD recording on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday and then I saw the show again on the following Wednesday, with NO cameras.

She was much more relaxed and ad-libbed a bit.

I think we threw her out a bit when we did the whole "we love you - I love you too - We love you more" thing. But it was so fantastic.

She must have been thinking "That was very sweet of them, but why the hell did they have to do it while we`re recording?"

I still hope they show that part on the fan DVD.

It was just the show, the usual talk and not many funny things as it comes to the interaction with the audience. I think its a shame, because thats what I love the most about that theatre: it gives Céline the opportunity to talk with her fans. It is too bad they did not use these footages to show the 'living room'-feeling Céline has been talking about for all these years. And the crowd was great, so I am sure there were many amazing moments they could have used for this.

i saw that youtube video, in the last high note, at the end of I Surrender, it seems (that segment) a playback, cause she said YEAH (u can see her lips moving), but seconds later, u can hear that YEAH

That performance was strange! Maybe I haven't listened to that song in a while, but it didn't sound like the same pre-recorded version she usually uses, did she actually sing the whole thing live this time?? I thought it was very good honestly, but still have an inkling that the first half of it might have actually been sung live. Anyone else think so?

Hey everyone...I was wondering a few things. Do you think on the DVD there will be an option for different angles of the show? I was hoping they would film the show with one continous wide shot of the entire stage and leave the camera without cutting away so that we could see everything thats happening as if we are watching the show there...no cutaways no editing just one continous shot from a distance of the entire show. Do you think that its possible they did this? I think it would be amazing if they did, but I really honestly dont think they did. What does everyone else think? Would you like to see it this way as well? Do you think there will be atleast different camera angles?

i wish that they added some TC songs she performed for example (not in front of the audience during a regular show, but if she taped them aside), especially to be added to the DVD release in Dec. cause watching TC performances in the DVD can make some people go buy the album.
