According to my source, it's 100% confirmed that the DVD will be a two disc DVD and the second disc will contain four hours of bonus features.

2 discs DVD seems much less than we asked for. A 4 hours DVD can't be very high bitrate, so the quality won't be amazing. :( We still have hope for BD release. :innocent:

well, if the bonus are conversations with the fans of all around the world, I really don't care. However if it's previous versions of the show (blond hairs, etc..) that'll be great. :yes:

That's a great news!! Yeah, it seems that we're gonna have 2 versions of the show. The Red Dress Show era, and the new one with that white outfit!! :clap:

I'd love to have all the versions but I doubt that it will happen. It was already confirmed that the DVD would include 4 documentaries. I thought that it meant 4 discs but seems like all 4 docs are on the 'bonus' dvd. If that's the case I don't think there's space for another complete show. :confused:

so they aren't going to include the taping from 2003 anymore?????????

NOOOOO!....that sucks...we deserve to see it and the evolution. at least the songs that aren't the show anymore

 

do you, ronny83, know if the 2003 version will be includes in one of the discs??

As We All Know There is a TV Special in the works for A New Day... Live from Las Vegas and it was set to be the same performance as the DVD Recording in January....AND THATS...When the problem comes in Place I'm all for the the TV Special But...can you imagine The Final being on TV...You Know All Of Us cant attend the concert FINALE so this would be GREATLY Apreciated...! :w00t:

 

Can You Just imagine Rene and Rene-Charles there and Celine inviting Her son Rene Charles on the stage for If I Could.....And Then I Wonder who the ROSE will go to....Rene...her son...Maman Dion...Franco

You Know this would be an expericence of a lifetime ...

 

WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want THE SAME Concert as The DVD on TV :nono:

I don't really think petitions are necessary. :ermm: If you don't want to spoil the DVD, then don't watch it. They're probably not broadcasting the finale because if they did, a lot of people would just choose to watch it on TV rather than go and see the show itself.

 

The finale of A New Day... is something someone should experience for themselves first hand. :yes:

Yes...But I wont be able to see the final show...I Mean i hope you are by the way you are talking or you should feel the way i do....You know even if its not the Final show i dont want it as the same as the DVD make the TV special the old DVD recording of the red Dior Dress as so on...but i would love to se the certain call for the final concert

Even CBS tell you they'll broadcast the final show. It still wont be the real final show but a pre-recorded show from other day. Just like what they did for the opening night.

Nope, it was pre-recorded from the rehersal night before.

About the dvd, thank God it will be two-disc edition, knowing Sony I was afraid it will be one disc :giggle: . I never expected them to release 4 disc edition at all. That wishlist that was created was amazing but c'mon, there's no way in million years that half of that will be included. I'm only hoping they'll include songs that were removed.

I agree..but there is an article which says that the dvd would contain 4 documentaries..so I think most of us thought that it meant 4 discs. :P

I'm happy about the release.. 2, 3 or 4 discs..I don't care. :clap:

Actually, it was recorded on 17th March 2003 which was 8 days before the real opening night. Those lucky people who got to attend the rehearsal said there were signs up saying CBS was recording and by entering the Colosseum you agreed to be on film. Not that anyone would mind I guess! :lol:

i think that if they did it they wouldn't use prerecord version... the last show it will be like Millenium Concert sth big has ended changed her and many other people life and it can't be played twice the feeling is once... and it'll be the best show ever becuause she will do all her best maybe even with some surprises because it won't be just normal show there will be a lot of emotions... ohh i wish i were there

OK this whole petitionioning and demanding things is getting alittle out of hand. Chill out. Some of you are asking for a bit too much. Soon you'll be petitioning for her to come to your house and have tea and buscuits. Just be glad we're getting a TV Special at all. Be glad we're getting a DVD :rolleyes:
