Plus she's coming to Sweden for the first time, too on June 7th for one date in Stockholm!
for the first time??
She has done a concert in Sweden before.
looll..and she had too much tequila after the concert.
Wasn't that in Amsterdam, actually?
No...it was in Stockholm.

....It is almost dark at four o'clock in the afternoon when Celine comes to the Globe for the sound check. Night comes early this time of year, but Celine doesn't mind. She loves the night. It's her time, the time when she feels free and strong and protected. Tonigh, in Stockholm, there's an exhilarating kind of joy. Everyone feels it, and everyone knows more or less where it comes from. Last year, Celine sang here, and later, after the show, she told the musicians that she wanted to go out to a club with them. They discovered a disco in the old part of Stockholm, near Lake Mälaren, and they spent the better part of the night there.

Celine feels like drinking - something strong. Frulla told her to try tequila. She danced until four o'clock in the morning, and for the first time in her life, she was tipsy. The band was worried. After the third tequila, they tried to get her to stop, but she answered that she never did things halfway. She ordered a fourth, then a fifth, then a sixth. They lost track. They only remember how worried they were. They were thinking how Rene would react when he found out that they'd let Celine drink in a smoky bar. He'd tell the guys that they'd let him down by letting Celine go overboard.

In the bar, everyone recognized her, and men and women both came and danced around her. The Swedish men surrounded her, handsome, bog-boned, elegant, blond and polished - and drunk too, no doubt. It was quite a night. Celine was floating on air, dancing to disco music.

She woke up in great shape the next afternoon. She loved that night - all of it. But she hasn't drunk anything since, except for a glass of red wine, and even then, very rarely. When Angelil found out about her excapade, he laughed. Mostly, he laughed at how concerned the band had been...

wasnt the intinerary to be released on the 15th. I have looked on celinedion.com and fansites, as well as ticketmaster, but I havent seen anything.

It sucks... I wrote October 15th in my agenda, because that would be THE day... :in_love: I told everyone about it and that I would let them know when Céline would be coming to Amsterdam and when the tickets would go on sale. Because a "RELIABLE" source announced that date.

And now... October 16th and still nothing! It think this is such a disrespect of the fans. They dont take us serious at all! I mean, come on! When you announce something, you have to do what you say. And this is not the first time... I still have an official flyer announcing the release of the DVD in the fall of 2004. Remember? "The DVD puts you front row center at Céline's spectacular show'. YEAH, RIGHT! In your dreams!

I think we'll have to wait until sometimes in November, I think they will combine the release of the tourdates with the release of the Taking Chances album, so that they can put a commercial flyer/extra inlay with the tourdates (as a commercial for the tour) in the album, and also, there are many venues (on the Amsterdam Arena site still nothing is listed yet) have to confirm their dates, and without these confirmations, they simply can't give us a list of unconfirmed dates!

Let's wait a few weeks more, those dates will be announced sooner or later!

Ya, it was right after she was sick for a pretty long time: panic attacks, she had dreams about having an apple in her troat and she couldn't sing and some bad case of cold going on.
