I hope Celine does some Dates in Canada we Canadian fans want her to come back to Canada to do some dates in all the major cities in Canada. Please Celine come to Vancouver so I can come to your show I probably be in the front row or the second if she did come to Vancouver I would make it all day affair and if any of you guys on here came to the Vancouver concert I could meet all you that would be cool. Some news for you! There will be a press conference in Septembre, to talk about the tour and the following album. A person from Sony France, told a french fan that it will be a huge tour, with light effects, and lots of impressive stuff. He added that prices were rightly studied face to the quality of the future show. There will be a french one and an english one as well. He also spoke about her french promotion tour during october, and said that Celine would be everywhere on radios and TV and that the true come back of Celine would be on that period. Concerning the selling of Bercy's tickets, he is quite satisfied with every dates sold at 50% at least and some others at 90%! He is sure that it will be sold out in December.

 

Oh, and there will be new version of Celine's classics! I can't wait to hear that! It seems to be a realy great show to come!

So far we only know about Montpellier but I really hope she'll join some TV and radio shows in Paris so it will be something similair to 2005!

thanks for the news . just like i thought - right from the start when celine and rene said they r considering the idea of touring the world again i knew it's gonna be huge . and when celine gave interviews and said this time she'll do less shows - i knew it's gonna be her biggest tour yet . recently she said it's gonna be really diffrent from the vegas show - no special effects and stuff , only her voice - it was then that i knew her new tour will contain 3D effects and 20000 dancers around her

 

i cant wait for celine to announce her retirement again - i just wanna be sure she'll stay around for atleast 20 more years

She said herself already two times there won't be any fireworks which would be understandable as they wont have much time to have massive special effects set up so quickly. I bet they will be desperate to squeeze the LTAL heart-shaped stage into these smaller venues anyway.

Everything mentioned in this pseudo-exclusive interview we have known for some time. I told you Céline said by herself that there will be new versions of her classics and the fact that she mentioned that there will be NO fireworks just the usual lighting makes this interview even less reliable.

Finally some new versions of her classics, of course she's tired of them we are tired of them. But I fear that "new" will only mean shorter versions, not new arrengements and new vocal approaches which would really be needed. They like to use big words about very small things, so I wouldn't be surprised if these "new" versions are just some shortened versions of the same old ones.

 

The only thing I'd hope for with this tour is that it would be very simple and acoustic, with the interpretions of the songs being different on each concert, and of course rather a short concort all live than a long with mixed playback an live performances.

i think celine will change some of her classics so she'd still be able to sing them . she can't sing most of the songs from TCOML or CD album like she used to - her voice is not as powerful and as accurate as it used to be .

i think she'll work more around the notes and might take few songs a lower key - that's what i think she is planning . ofcours they'll tell us it's all an artistic decision but we know better than that

i disaggre with you Celine voice since last year has an excellent voice as she used to have..

i heard it also on the show and RDMH is truely live and awesome! well songs from 15 years ago won't be the same but now her voice is as good as before she proved on D'elles and other performances 2006/7

her voice now is in much better shape than it was in 2004 or 05 yet she would never be able to perform live like she used to. her voice is much more fragile this days and she IS getting older u know...her last performance with her powerful voice was in 2001 - the performance of LEE . ofcours her voice is still amazing and strong but do u really think she can hit those notes so easily today? i'm not talking about her voice in the 90's - just check her performances from 2001 before her comeback of GBA and LEE - her voice is more powerful than ever there....something happened in 2002 - i dont know what exactly...but in 2001 it was still that old voice something happened to her vocal chords during that year Edited July 27, 2007 at 01:26 PM by thevoice

It's called work. She's been singing for years and I aggree her voice isn't the instrument it used to be, but still it sounds amazing. Even on a bad day Celine still sounds pretty good. But her voice now seems to be getting better and better.

I absolutely ADORE how ppl take her Vegas voice as reference to what she is really sounding. Then she comes and sings Destin live sounding like 1995 and everybody shuts up again. Love it.

DESTIN fits her voice perfectly and u know it seb...it's easy for her to sing this song - u can't really compare it to "think twice" , "only one road" , "all by myself"...do u really think celine can still sound as powerful on those songs LIVE?

 

ofcours she is still one amazing vocalist and we have her performance of "show must go on" to prove it but common her voice has changed alot and one can hear the diffrence

I found her performance of The Show Must Go On overrated. She sounded way better on "Musique Que J'aime". Again this is not Céline I will be hearing live in Antwerpen. She will explode live for sure and will be more than fine vocally.

Yeah... I don't think she sounds so good in Show Must Go On. I luv the music, luv the voice of one of the guys, but the nasal "OHH YEAHHHH" all the time get me tired of the performance. But on studio, it could sound very, but VERY good!

it's your right ofcours not to like TSMGO performance but saying that she is nasal on the "ohhhhh yeahhh" notes is simply not true - she sang with her full voice there and sounded out of this world
