Mozinha Posted September 7, 2006 at 05:51 PM Posted September 7, 2006 at 05:51 PM So this is the first time I'm doing screencaps on my new computor. I really need to cap these videos but for some reason it WON'T WORK. I'm doing it like I've always done: open the video on WMP, pause and press print screen and then paste it on paint and then save. But it doesn't work. When I save the image, the screen part of it turns black. What am I doing wrong here? AllCeline Posted September 8, 2006 at 08:12 PM Posted September 8, 2006 at 08:12 PM You cannot use the Print Screen key on your keyboard to takes caps of videos; it never works. You'll need a video player capable of taking caps of video files or a program specially designed to takes video captures. Windows Movie Maker works fine if you want something basic. Just import the video into WMM to take the caps. I recommend WinDVD for taking caps (preferably version 6. I haven't had too many good experiences with version 7). http://www.intervideo.com/ Quote http://i34.tinypic.com/9ybm.jpghttp://i54.tinypic.com/o56kr5.jpghttp://i54.tinypic.com/vhqqu9.jpg>> flickr | WordPress <<Celine Dion needs another ANDHC/OH album! No more Taking Chances--just do what works!

Celcool Posted September 9, 2006 at 10:25 PM Posted September 9, 2006 at 10:25 PM I use BS player. All you have to do is pause (or not even that) and press "p". Simple! http://www.bsplayer.org/en/bs.player/downl...33e47e0b9e9ad48 Quote
