A New Day...review

So i saw her on friday

 

it was awesome

 

when i first heard about the costume changes, i wasn't excited, but after seeing it in person, it is really nice

 

the white leather pants have slits in the back that are very sheek and trendy, and on the side of the blouse there is fabric hanging down that she can play with like a dress...and you have all seen the blouse...i liked it, but i still love the red dress

 

the rest of the outfits are nice, and you have seen those ones

 

her voice was in AWESOME shape...I SURRENDER was AMAZING

 

also...she never took her hair out of the ponytail in IDAN...she kept it in, and just put it in a bun during MHWGO

 

but what disappointed me...i don't know if someone went to her show the next day or the day before...SHE DIDN'T SING WAWW

 

i don't know why

 

i was also sad that the audience didn't give her a standing ovation after MHWGO...maybe they didn't think it was over

 

but anyways...i don't know why she didn't sing WAWW

 

YOU WILL BE HAPPY TO KNOW...the day i went...she didn't shreak at all during LCMM...at the end she did a nice long note tooooooooooo...LCMM was very nice

Thanks for the review! I wonder if WAWW is one of the songs being replaced soon. I like the song, but I am ready for a new song to end the show.

yea that's weird...she hardly has any songs in her show as it is, i don't think it is right to skip songs...it's only a 1 hour, 25 minute show or so.

 

i'm not the biggest fan of WAWW, but it is something i expected, and i just wanted to hear her sing, which is why i was disappointed by that

Maybe Celine was pissed she didn't get a standing O for MHWGO so she skipped he last song. Did anyone get a rose at this show? I don't know how anyone could not give her a standing O for that song. did the TC sections stand up for her? If not, Wha't a matter U.

 

Every show I have been to she always got an ovation and never skipped any songs.

yea that's what i was thinking...i was wondering why

 

but there are too many things to skip a song spur of a moment because the technical team and the band have to know before hand not to start the visuals and music...and the rose has to be made ready, so it must have been decided before hand

 

also...i don't know if anyone mentioned this, but now they give u a VIP pass to wear if you are a TC member...it has a celine picture on it and says VIP, but it doesn't really mean anything...and they give you a 10% off coupon for the boutique

I saw the show on Wednesday August 23 and she didn't sing WAWW then either. I also saw it on July 12th and she took out IIC on that night.

Wow, that's too bad that WAWW wasn't in the show. I know that IIC is sometimes left out, but WAWW, that's just crappy! Like it was mentioned before, was a rose given out at this show? Hmmm...so weird!

That is really sad about WAWW. I don't like it when they take away songs like that. It's like the people at those shows were cheated. They paid the same as someone did for another show where she sang WAWW. Maybe there is some logical reason why she did not perform the song, but it doesn't seem fair to the people that attended that nights show.

no the VIP tag was different...had a picture like the cover of for keeps on one side and a pic of her in the pink dress singing TFTEISYF on the other side

Yea, i was wondering when they started giving them out as well. Thats the one i got too. Maybe the one bellamy scanned is for the real VIPs that actually get to go backstage or something? I went to the show on the 19th and WAWW was still in... and thats crazy that people didnt give her an ovation for MHWGO! I thought people were never going to stop clapping when i was there (much to my pleasure )

I'm really hoping that the fact they took WAWW out is a sign that they're going to replace it with something else. It's a nice song, and it's cool to see the audience up on the screen, but it's time to have an original Celine song to end the show. Maybe "The Greatest Reward," "Then You Look At Me," or "Je ne vous oublie pas?" Just my thoughts.

I like that idea a lot! After all it is her signature song, the way she performs it is VERY memorable, and it's how she's ended her shows ever since she recorded the song.
