That one truly one of a lifetime experience and I think till today that she recorded the whole LTAL cuzz she knew she'd have this one lil song on there. :lmao: In the videoclip Céline seemed so pleased...pleased like you are rarely in your life. She was in seven heaven while recording this clip cuzz this was actually the only physical contact with Barbra since they recorded the vocals in separate studios. But then again it was amazing....also the way Barbra spoke about Celione. So touching being praised by a legend like her. Céline must have been impossibly flattered. :in_love:

 

I like the song I must confess ever since I got the meaning of the older wiser woman (Barbra) explaining/advising Céline in the love matters.

I never cared for that song before.. but when I heard it like a month ago I re-discovered it..

The only thing I can say about "Tell Him" is that I'm happy Celine got to record with her idol. Other than that if it were up to me this song would have been nixed off the album and put into the vault. Not one of her best songs.

I remember being a newborn Celine fan, in february 1998, who bought the LTAL album and kept listening Tell Him 24/7 for two weeks or so. Oh, what a cute puppy I was :icecream:

I could do without Barbara to be honest. I know she has a great voice but I personally don't care for it. But I still like the song quite a bit and I find the premise interesting...how Celine is getting advice from Barbara about love.

 

And I love that part where Celine sorta 'outsings' Babs...the part that goes "and whiiiispAA-OOOOOH" towards the end. :giggle:
