I'm bringing a friend who I've brainwashed into being a Celine fan, so no doubt she'll want to come along to the meeting as well. Well one more sleep till I see Celine! Yay!! Since my luggage STILL hasn't turned up I've been Celine deprived my whole holiday, can't wait to hear some decent music again!!! It is a hike to Ceasers, But it is free as it is my parents timeshare. I am 28 so definitly over 21!! I am bringing my Mom, with me but I can ditch her to meet you guys and Gals!!! Well due to my finances, I think I will be staying in Sin City Hostel which is about 5 mins drive north from Stratosphere (its still on the strip). Kerry, this timeshare, how does that work? Seeing as I fortunately get to go to Vegas quite a bit these days (working for an airline that has direct flights) - is it worth investing? A few folks asked me if I was interested and I said no, mainly because their first question was "do you ear 80k+?!!!" Oh yes of course... that's what I make in a week. Then they pay $700 a year for the maintenance fees. THey have one week a year. It is the 42nd or 49th week every year. I am not sure which. It works out to be the first week or second week of October. THey can use this week in October or three months prior to this week they can call and try to use their 7 days at a different time. Last year I was able to use their 7 days in March, but then in turn they couldn't go in October since I had used their week already. Does that make sense? I am not always good at explaining things. It was intially exspensive since they had to drop 15 grand, but in the long run it has proved very beneficial. They pay $700 a year and they get a nice two bedroom time share with kitchen for a week every year in Vegas. Plus then I can stay once a year for free. Woot! PLus I get to see Celine Dion every year. That alone is worth it. Another nice added bonus is we don't have to eat out all the time because we have a full kitchen in our suite. It is like an apartment really. The timeshare is right next to MGM on the strip. It is all lit up in Purple. Anyway, I know I rambled, but I hope I was helpful to you. Another option is to see if you can rent someone elses timeshare, so you dont have to buy one. THis is much cheaper and there are always open weeks. Can't wait to meet up in October!
