Does Celine ever annoy you?

The thing that irritates me about Celine is when she reads scripted messages, sometimes it sounds so fake, like her mannerisms and stuff...I dunno, maybe it's because I prefer raw unscripted Celine...okay that's all I had to say, just needed to get that off my chest lol. I still love Celine

 

Ohh yeah and I know it's not Celine's fault, because her team probably sits her on the chair at the last minute, right before the roll the tap, and have her read a script and tells her it's for this charity, commercial, program, whatever...

Yeah sometimes she does annoy me. I mean, I don't go like "oh damn she's so boring!" it's just things that she does or say that... surprise me. But no one's perfect, and I still love her!

Overall, I think Celine has a tiny amount of flaws compared to her peers in the industry...and I love her as a person just as much as a singer.

that's not fair ... I am a true fan...I am as dedicated as they get! Just because you find something in a person that can irritate you doesn't mean you don't love them...my mom annoys and irritates me lol, and i still love her to the fullest!!!

 

Btw, I understand it might just be in English thing, I only wish I could understand her French.

Oh I agree with the repetition thingy...I enjoy it when Celine volunteers information instead of when they ask her the same questions over and over! I liked her interview with Ellen...how she walked out there and started dancing, that was PURE Celine!

Certain decisions she's made have annoyed me. I think the quality of her music has declined, and it's due to the Vegas show. I mean, I do enjoy her voice, but you can tell certain projects have been rushed through.

 

Also I CAN'T STAND WHEN SHE LIP SYNCHS. She's made a habit out of that in the last year or 2 and it's so annoying to me. I'd rather not here anything that see her pretending to sing a song she should just be singing.

In the show business world, one has to be careful what they say, to protect their image, interests, and reputation. Celine is not stupid. And neither are those talk-show hosts. Talk-show hosts and interviewers, in the professional world, normally asks if the interviewee would give them a few talking points. Also, fans may get annoyed, just because they follow Celine on all the different shows, and she's consistent with her answers - so therefore, blamed as "repetitive", although she is doing it intentionally. Through observation, I do not see that Celine craves the attention most celebrities crave, by REVEALING something "New" or "Hot" on different talk shows and such.

I would say the only thing that really annoys me is like some others have said, when she lip synchs things over and over and over again. I mean come on, would it have killed her to sing ONE live version of "Tous les secrets" when it was released?

 

I also wish she was more involved in her projects (minus Miracle) instead of just letting Rene and Sony do all the work. The fact that she does this shows in the lack of promotion and choice of poor singles the past 6 years or so. I know she has a mind of her own and Rene/Sony isn't dragging her around like a dog on a leash telling her what to do and when to do it, but it just gets old album after album having her say, "My favorite song I recorded was...." and then not doing anything with it. I mean come on, she said that "With This Tear" was one of her favorite songs and yet it's never been in any of her tours (except maybe when the CD album was out) or been added into the Vegas show. It just seems to me that she tends to like to take the backseat too much. Maybe that's why she's as far as she is, but I'd much more enjoy her with better albums and more involvement.

No, it wouldn't. But Hit Machine is a show use playback only. There's no need to blame her for using playback on that show.

Cause there;s no point of add new French single in AND show. We all know that show wouldn't have more than one French song.

 

Celine does not care about promotion of her albums singles now. That's why she doesn't care about when albums are being released, what songs are going to be singles, etc. She's more invoveled when producing the albums. We can see that from the Making of 1F4T, Making of ANDHC. If the only thing fans care about is her sales and promotion, then too bad Celine doesn't care about it anymore.

Thank you. I definately agree with you. As a matter of fact I rather her spend more time with her family, she deserves it. And I think the annoyance I feel is from the team around her...and to clarify: I don't blame Rene!! I love him
