Thanks for helping me figure this out! I think this will work.Its me singing Because you love me/ My heart will go on/Power of Love. I was going to perform this at a gig so I just put together a medley. I had just started doing the Celine show and on top of that.. I had just had a baby! I was all fat and baby bloaty!! I will let you guys know when I get my new video edited. It should be alot better then this old one. i have done many shows since then, lost the baby weight and have had more time to get to know Celine as an artist. That was more of a "tribute" show. I am moving more into "Impersonating" as the months go by. It requires an amazing amount of "forgetting everything I have ever learned as Elisa and trying to recreate her the best I can". People have always told me I sounded like her, and after thanking them.. I just went about my business as usual singing the rest of my show. But then I started noticing that when I would actually do a Celine Song ( the theme from Titanic being the first one), all the people that were talking over me or not paying attention to the show.. would stop whatever they were doing to hear the rest of the song. The applause was unbelievably massive and I would even get tipped! LOL I guess when people recognize something from the radio ( or think that they do) a singer is apt to get a lot more response from them for some reason. After awhile everyone was telling me that I should do Celine. So.. first I got pregnant ( at 38).. LOL.. and then I decided a year or so ago that I would try it. It of course is a work in progress. I have to completely forget who I am as an artist and try to emulate her! I will never claim to be her.. or claim to or come anywhere close to being as talented as she is. But my road has lead me here today and currently I seem to be making a decent living at it so I will ride it out as long as I can.. all the while paying my greatest respects to her and trying to do her justice as much as I can, Peace out,elisa Quote
