Hello!

 

Ok, so because nobody responded to me singing Delta Goodrem's Last Night on Earth, I figured I'd post something that everyone is familar with. Gotta love I Surrender.

 

I'd appreciate it if you would post responses. Objective responses are pretty valuable and seeing as though none of you know me, I guess your responses are as objective as I can get!

 

It's my favourite Celine song, so here we go... Hell, I even threw in an echo or two to add spice.

If anyone feels like they have some constructive criticisims or tips on how to improve my singing, I would really appreciate it.

 

I'm considering taking some singing lessons in my free time. I'll have to see.

ok im going to write as i listen to you...

first thing that hits me would be that you breathe in the incorrect places and youu dont hold notes long enough and that you go flat in places.......they are the only negative points i make

On the upper hand you can control your voice ok...where as when i sing to Celine i tend to go extremely high

i would not have used the echos as they seem to distort your voice.

towards the end of the song you seem to get a little confussed on the song and whgich bits to sing.

overall you do sound rather good....well done

Hey there! I appreciate the time you took to listen and provide some constructive feedback.

 

You're completely right as far as far as the end of the song is concerned! I wasn't sure which part to sing... I sang some of the back up singer parts instead of Celine's parts

 

As far as the breathing is concerned, I've never properly understood breathing techniques or when best to breathe in songs, other than when I feel like I need to. I do know the importance of breathing in the right spots though... so it's probably something I need to get my head around.
