How record the show(audio) in good quality?

before the show starts, there is an announcement telling you to turn your cell phones off.
Ahhh that sucks!!
Why?

It would be really annoying if someone's phone went off in the middle of the show! They'd deserve to be escorted out.

yea, people with their cell phones ringing in the middle of a performance or movie really annoy me, and some even have the gall to answer it and start talking. :angry2:

So i'm glad they ask people to turn off their cell's because it would be rude to interrupt her show.

just imagine in the middle of a soft quiet song like IIC and the silent parts someone cell phones starts ringing. :nono:

sneaking in stuff is the easy part. the difficult part is the actual recording. you can just have a camera out in the open. even with my cell phone, i didnt want to hold it up during RDMH so I just laid it in the cup holder on the chair. which is why it ended up capture the back of the person's head in front of me, lol.

On the phone ringing subject...I would have mine on silent, so no one would ever hear it! I'm not rude like that, and I also hate people who answer phone calls during a movie/concert. But to have it on silent, and just hold it or whatever... )

LOL Oh my gosh, thats hilarious Tal! So how did you even hit the buttons to get it recording without someone wondering what you were doing? And was the sound quality ok for a cell phone? Could you tell what you were listening to? I thought about just recording her talking between songs, not THE songs, just talking, you would probably be able to hear that better than when she is singing. I don't know...I'm so scared to do anything, I'll probably chicken out. :ermm:

Why do you care so much about whether it's off or silent, there's not much difference between the 2 unless the phone is out in the open, then it may be a distraction.

haha no i edited it because it wasnt "radio frequencies" , its cell phone frequencies whatever there called. and i never lie about stuff's on here. even when i told one time one of my best brasilian friends told me stuff's thru pm about adding new english song's and then i was doubted and them he wrote message saying yea its him.. :giggle:

EDIT: i just thought of something. why would they say to turn off and not say to put on silent . :hmm:

Hi.When I saw Kylie Minogue live in Sydney Australia last november on her Homecoming Tour I managed to record the two shows that I went to.I used a dictaphone and the device is the same size as a walkman.I hid it down the front of my trousers and got in no problem.I then went to the toilets once in side the arena and put it in my jacket pocket.The audio turned out crystal clear.I have since put the tapes onto cd.When I saw Elton John at Caesars Palace this february I had my digital camera in on of my side pockets in my trousers and they scanned me up and down with a scanning device and it set it off so I had to give the camera to security and picked it up at the end of the show.

I've been meaning to ask...Can you video or take pics with your cell phone before the show starts? Just of how beautiful the colosseum is? I'll be there 3 hours early! There probably won't even be many people in there! :shrug:

I don`t think they let you inside the theatre until like an hour before. As for recording audio they have digital voice recorders that are pretty small.. here`s one I bought yesturday for my voice lessons...I might try recording it in September...from second row Orch 4

I would so love to know what device the person who recorded those brilliant bootlegs has used!! I think his nick is aut0mat1c? I'm not sure...

Anyways, I'm not going to Vegas at all but just in general I like recording things and concerts I'm attending and those AND bootlegs are so fabulous quality!!!

I recorded a few shows of my favourite Polish and German artists on my Panasonic walkman on casettes and later I transfered them on the PC. But I haven't got really controlled before those shows so it wasn't that difficult to sneak in things, hehe!

Oh, and I went to Lionel Richie concert 3 months ago - I stand in the 1st row and took some brilliant pics with my digitale camera - noone bothered it!!

Wish it would be like this on Céline's next year's tour but I'm almost sure they will be controlling people like hell just like LV, especially in Bercy... *sniff* *sigh*
