What is your definition of Soul Mate? Can it be defined?

Do you believe in Soul Mates?

How does one know they have found a soul mate? Is it more faith-based than a theory?

I think it might be just a theory that whenever you've found someone you can really connect to and love a lot. It's like your souls were meant to be together.

I think a soul mate is some one who understands what you try to explain, without going into detail, someone who is there through the bad the ugly. Someone who tells you how it is and someone when your down or happy, you dont give a second thought you know they will be there, they think like you, and love like you, too peas in a pod, then you either have the greatest of friendships or the greatest love ever.....

Someone who's known you even before you knew yourself. Someone who's been there for you through the good and the bad. Someone who doesn't have to be a lover. A soulmate can be a friend, a parent, a gaurdian, etc. Someone who knows what you're thinking at the same time or before you do. Someone you were destined to be with in any form. That's my opinion.
