Leone Posted July 19, 2006 at 11:15 PM Posted July 19, 2006 at 11:15 PM (edited) Ever since I discovered The work by Katie Byron, it's just been constantly flowing in my mind and changing my way of thinking. I was wondering if anybody here also approached "The work" and what your believes and experiences are? If you don't know about it take a look and tell me what you think. Take any problem you have and apply the 4 questions Katie has prepared. After that reverse it towards yourself..It sound simple or unbelieveable but it works (for most). Check out her official website for more explanation: http://www.thework.com/ She has 2 books Loving what is and I need your love - Is that true?. A third book will be published next year (i think).. The best thing is to read a little about it then listen to these funny conversations that Katie Byron is having with regular people. NO matter how sad something is.. there's always funny moments.. Notice how Katie is sticking to her questions no matter what. There are pleanty of material (conversations) on other places (eMule) that's equaly interesting, but here's some from her own website: A woman is angry because her husband wants her to vacume the house ( funny video)http://www.thework.com/video/OpenHeart.rm A woman feeling depressed, fat, ugly (the funniest one, couldn't stop laughing)http://www.thework.com/audio/SantaFe_dsl.rm A guy is mad because girls like "bad guys" and not him (he's the "nice one")http://www.thework.com/audio/BadBoys.mp3 A woman is mad at her sister because she feels her sister has unnecessarily prolonged their mother's suffering (before her death)http://www.thework.com/audio/DeathResponsibility2_56.rm Introduction from her first book.01 02 Check it out and let me know what you think! It might sound strange at the beggining, but the more you listen to it the more you will understand what it is.
