I think she is better as an actress (Moonstruck, Mermaids, Burlesque).

Celine's voice is not edited in the album but for the little auto tune in Sorry For Love (and only in certain parts of the song). How can you say the whole album is auto tuned in songs like I'm Alive, The Greatest Reward or Goodbye's? That's just her bare voice (as it always have been), and only her voice

Do you believe in life after love?" Cher used to sing. And if you've ever heard that song, you might now have an earworm in your head.

The singer's 1998 comeback track marked the first prominent use of a technology called "Auto-Tune", a pitch correcting software that has since changed the music industry.

Auto-Tune alters the pitch of a singing voice to make everyone sound perfectly in tune. When used properly, it's subtle enough that it can't be detected.

 

 

But Cher's producers played with the idea of cranking it up to 11, creating the now-familiar effect that is part human synthesizer, part robotic voice.

Andy Hildebrand, the inventor of autotune, told CNN: "My thinking was, ok, I'll put that setting in the software. But I didn't think anyone in their right mind would ever use it."

Thus was born the "Cher effect", and one of the biggest hits of the 1990s.

 

"Before Auto-Tune, studios would do pitch correction by having the singer repeat a phrase over and over and over. They would do 100 takes and then patch them together to make one piece of music that sounded in tune."

 

 

So auto tune is not only a sound effect, It's a programm to correct the human voice. On ANDHC it was used a lot, that's why the production is more sterile than on any other Celine album.

I don't believe a single word of that. Not applied to Celine's albums (not just ANDHC). Are you trying to make us believe now that Céline's recordings are all corrected with autotune to adjust her pitch so that she sounds perfect??? Are you joking right

 

And what's different in ANDHC vocals to the rest of her previous albums? She's flawless when recording her voice in the studio, she doesn't need any digital tool to "correct" her pitch!

 

Sorry but i don't know who made you believe all that. Auto-tune is one thing, Pro-tools is another, and Céline's ability to deliver flawless vocals in the recording studio is a long-standing testimony acknowledged by countless producers

I hope were getting bonus songs but I think remixes will be our safest bet.

 

My guess for short albums nowadays is that you can buy a separate track for a dollar and a full album for 9.99 on iTunes, so they won't make money anyway on the tracks above the 10th
