fred Posted July 15, 2006 at 04:49 PM Posted July 15, 2006 at 04:49 PM Well she has sung this the same way one too many times. Don't get me wrong, it's a good song, but very old fashioned, and booring, geeky sound to it. It is in desperate need for new arrengements!!! (why doesn't she ever do that to her songs? They would survive much longer before fans starts to puke on them. And it would be a lot more soulful and artistic.) The best I guess must be the one on World Music Awards 2004 (or was it '05?). Simply because she puts on a hell of a show + she recieves the award for best selling artist. /fred Quote Peace and love to all.

This song is a surviver after years. I love the lives versions of this song, even more than studio version. My favorite version: Live @ olympia -1994 Quote #FREEJAVITO

LVCeline Posted July 16, 2006 at 03:38 AM Posted July 16, 2006 at 03:38 AM I think the song has a bit of a different arrangement nowadays. She dodesn't sing it exactly like she used to, and there's much more bass. I think it sounds better in the colliseum. Quote

krazy_kool_dude Posted July 19, 2006 at 11:06 PM Posted July 19, 2006 at 11:06 PM generally i HATE this song, it all started off 'cos Celine performs it so many flippin times! i've only been a fan since 2003, so obviously i've never grown knowing that she's performed it so much BUT now i realise she does. and it's boring! Anyways the best performance for me would be the Montreal Amerique 1992 (something like that). Quote http://img345.imageshack.us/img345/4136/siggyju5.jpg

smw Posted July 20, 2006 at 06:02 AM Posted July 20, 2006 at 06:02 AM I adore LCMM. I think it's a superb song...and I love the original version from the Celine Dion alum with the original opening! Quote
ANewDay... Posted July 20, 2006 at 01:45 PM Posted July 20, 2006 at 01:45 PM this is, without a doubt, the most oversung CELINE song ever! i prefer the studio arrangement, and i agree with those who say the song is tacky and in dire need of a makeover... my favourite live performance it would have to be from the ARSENIO HALL SHOW, here is the link to it on YOUTUBE.COM... - ANewDay... This is during that time that she tried to sex up her image before she cut her hair. I think if the song would just stick with the STUDIO arrangement, then it would be great. Quote

Esty Posted July 21, 2006 at 09:35 AM Posted July 21, 2006 at 09:35 AM I really like the song but I'm bored with it cause she has sang it soooo many times! And as someone has already said it really needs new arrangement! However I liked her performance at the World Music Awards. Yes, she sounded horrible at some instances but it was very energetic and she sang at the beginning I think - which I liked - as if she was singing soul or gospel even... It was so cool... And she showed that this "old gal" can still do it Quote
Terre Posted July 21, 2006 at 02:24 PM Posted July 21, 2006 at 02:24 PM LCMM is one of my very favourite songs and I could listen to the studio version 24/7. But I'm not that keen on hearing it live anymore. I don't think I have a favourite live performance of the song, there are many performances I love and some that I don't really like that much. nati Posted July 22, 2006 at 03:13 AM Posted July 22, 2006 at 03:13 AM The best version of Love Can Move Mountains would be the time she sang it to me, when I was at A NEW DAY. I never really liked the song but that song has become favourite since Celine actually I think started laughing while singing. Then when she came off the stage she put her right hand around my left cheek and I completely freaked out. I almost jumped out of my chair. Than she kissed me. Good Memories Quote Thanks Celine for the great memories. I will never forget you

Chrissi Posted July 22, 2006 at 12:39 PM Posted July 22, 2006 at 12:39 PM For me the best performance of LCCM is from "TCOML-DVD". I don't like the "new" (after 1999 ) way she sing this terrific song. Quote
whosarahre Posted July 22, 2006 at 09:29 PM Posted July 22, 2006 at 09:29 PM i do tihnk the song is juts too old now. its over used. the wolrd music awards was good, and would be probably #2 on the list, my fav would be lcmm from the all the way cbs tv special. songbird Posted July 23, 2006 at 08:39 AM Posted July 23, 2006 at 08:39 AM CBS Special is the best for me, too. I actually don't like the way she's performing the song nowadays... oh and there is also the performance (though pre-recorded) shown in the series "Touched by an angel", where is she is singing with a gospel choir - God's Property. *** Nano, you can use this to get the video from youtube: http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php Quote Celine Challenge :: Over 10.000 beautiful pictures of our diva! http://celinedion.evonet.ro/coppermine/
