It's about this scientist who was supposed to find a cure for a disease but ended up creating the most deadly disease ever. And then this girl named Violet (Milla Jovovich) caught the disease and turn in to a this vampire-like thing that wasn't human. And then a lot of people caught on and then there was a SECRET weapon. Inside the box that held the SECRET WEAPON was a child. And the child's blood is what those diseased people needed to survive. And then it become this race for the child's blood. I absolutely adore Milla Jovovich and would usually enjoy anything she is in (I like Resident Evil Apocolypse for gods sake) but this film has to be the worst film I have ever seen in the cinema... If your idea of fun is dodgy CG, Matrix ripoff martial arts and a plot so ridiculous that the guy who came up with it must have found himself something stronger (but infinitely less interesting) than LSD then this is the movie for you... I dont' like the Matrix. The style of Ultraviolet wasn't my type. But the plot was really good. The end is what made me love it so much. How she had become to really connect with the human child. It was so beautiful. The part where she gave up, knewing she would die very soon. She spent the last few moments of her life playing with the child.
