Miracle fell to #125 from #102 this week selling between 10k and 11k.

For the first time in 19 weeks it has fallen out of the #1 spot on Kid Audio to #2. :(

Ted

not bad. I wonder who take the #1 spot. :P

Miracle, in it's 20th week, has fallen to #188 from #125. Maybe it fall off the Billboard 200 next week. We will have to wait and see. :(

This week on the Kid Audio it fell to #3. Last week a new album put out by Disney took the #1 spot and this week it got bumped to #2 by Kidz Bop Kids, Kidz Bop 7. The Kidz Bop albums are always popular on this chart. In fact Kidz Bop 6 is #10 this week. So, I expect that album to stay #1 for a long while.

I got this from Classic Diva's Board at Classic Whitney. Posted by JR King. He has incredible info source. Bare in mind that these totals don't count the one's sold at Sony.com or in Vegas or at music clubs, such as Columbia House. :kicking:

Think it is pretty good and is explained in JR King's post.

RE Celine Dion- All the Way... is ranked No. 46 on the catalog chart, with nearly 4,900 units (7.1 million to date)- it's definitely behind in certs (this half-new-studio-album/half-Greatest Hits should probably be at least 9 platinum). Miracle is down to No. 188 on the Billboard 200, scanning 745,000 units to date.

Ted

I am going to post this in ATW thread, also.

Thank you for your precious help, Ted. :flowers:

BTW, here is a good news:

The highest Billboard 200 rank for a children's album belongs to the most recent Celine Dion title. "Miracle," her collaboration with photographer Anne Geddes, entered the big chart at No. 4 in October with 107,000 units sold.

Incidentally, "Miracle" is now ranked No. 188, but is in line for a resurgence later this year when Mother's Day shopping will be the anchor for an advertising campaign.

Miracle has fallen out of the Billboard 200 this week. I think it is just outside though. My feeling is that it will be back and then off and then back. Totally expected. It is not an album for mainstream audiences but targeted to a specific sector of people, family and new mothers.

Bare in mind Billbaord 200 doesn't count bookstore sales. I think it did quite well and congrats to all Celine fans who bought it regardless if it was a lullaby album.

Ted

BTW, it is still 3rd on the Kid Audio Chart.

Miracle didn't re-enter the Billboard 200 last week (hasn't been that chart for 2 weeks now) and it fell to #4 on the Kid Audio Chart. :(

I was surprised to see it had scanned over 750,000 and that is not counting book store sales. I am proud to own the album and think it is one of her best. I don't it appealed to the mainstream audience.

Maybe it will re-enter at some point. I will keep you posted.

Ted

Sorry about not posting before this but I was away.

I am happy to get the info from Billboard on the Adult Comp Chart.

It entered as New at #33. Not bad considering ISSW doesn't have any push to the radio by Sony.

All I can that people who live in the USA to request it at your local radio stations.

Help is needed to get it played. It's such a pretty song. :)

Miracle re-entered the Billboard 200 Album Chart this week (April 9th) at #196 with a bullet selling about 6,500 albums. On the Kid Audio Chart it fell to #6.

Miracle Album will sell thoughout the years because it is a speciality album (Lullaby). :D

Miracle re-enters the 200 Album Chart at Billboard:

Ted

Celine Dion's "Miracle" re-enters at No. 141 with a 123% jump (8,000 units). The performer was featured on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" May 6, where the entire audience won a trip to see Dion in Las Vegas for Mother's Day. Additionally, A&E aired a two-hour Dion "Biography" May 6.
