In Some Small Way on the radio

I just wanted to let everyone know that i heard In Some Small Way on the radio on my way home from school! I live in New York, specifically Long Island. I don't know if it's playing all over the country yet. Has anyone else heard it??? CALL AND EMAIL YOUR RADIO STATIONS, REQUEST IN SOME SMALL WAY AND BEAUTIFUL BOY! Let's hope ISSW will do better than BB is doing on the charts!

Yeah, Mediabase reports 10 new spins for ISSW. So, I bet next week we will have the radio date for this track in the US. Fingers crossed!

It was an AC radio station. Anyone on Long Island or New York metro area is familiar with Lite FM 106.7.

 

I wish they would have released a live version of that song on the radio. For some reason, the way she has sung it on New Years and in Canada, and even Jay Leno, sound better than the one on the radio. Oh well. I think they should have released Miracle as a single, but that's just my opinion! Ten new spins isn't a lot so it doesn't seem like this single will go very far, eventhough the timing with the tsunamis is almost perfect in that people are encourage to give their love and generosity away to help those in need.

Ten new spins isn't a lot so it doesn't seem like this single will go very far, eventhough the timing with the tsunamis is almost perfect in that people are encourage to give their love and generosity away to help those in need.

I know, that's not a lot but ISSW has never received so many spins. So, I think radio stations are just starting to test it. I hope we will have a radio date soon.

My mom thinks I'm insane when a song comes on the radio because I already have it on CD... but there is something about having it on the radio especially now-a-days!

WHAT A SMALL WORLD!!!! I love 106.7 Lite FM. They are great when it comes to Celine for some reason. That is the only station in this area that is so great with Celine's music. Lite FM is the station where I've heard her new singles play first, then I'd hear the other stations pick it up later on. Lite FM is usually the first one to introduce the new singles. Let's contact Lite FM, as well as all of the other AC stations out there and request this song as well as Beautiful Boy.

 

Joel, I think you are right about the DVD, I doubt it is coming out now. Are you the one that has the Celine site and that goes on Celinesmiles? If so you're site is great. Keep up the good work! It it's not you, sorry.

Koolan I'm a guy, that's why I put MALE in big letters on the location title, because I couldn't figure out how to change it from female to male. It automatically went to female for some reason, and after a half hour of trying to change it I just added male to the location section, hoping people would get the hint. I also couldn't put the year of my birth in either, it gave me a hard time. The information box worked, the "additional information" box wouldn't let me change anything.

 

So for the record, I'm not confused or have gender identifcation issues. Just some techincal difficulties. Either that or I'm a sped when it comes to this site.

OMG! OMG! OMG! I hope you don't think I'm crazy, but I was on 106.7 Lite FM's website, and they had Celine one TWO of their banners! I went crazy, and my nephew thought I went insane (did I spell that right?)

AllCeline, u aren't insane, I'm the same way. People think that I am insane for liking Celine Dion in the first place, because I'm a young GUY, when she is a singer MOSTLY liked by women. That's why I was glad to see on Celinesmiles and this site that I'm not the only young GUY that likes her. I've liked her since I was a kid, and just never stopped likeing her. She was big in the 90's when I was a kid. Anyway, when I hear her songs on the radio, I automatically raise the volume all the way up, when I hear a song play in a store, I stop and go near the speaker just to hear it, and I also have the songs on the CD's, but you are right, for some reason on the radio, they sound better, and bring lots of excitement. Maybe because Celine is still getting airplay after all these years, and also because I hope that the songs are climbing the charts each time it is played on the radio. I go on Lite FM"s site all the time to make sure that her singles are still on their playlist chart (did you notice You and I is on the list, but not Beautiful Boy or Some Small Way? Thanks karatedude. And you're right. I'm 14, and junior high & high school can be sooo cruel It's so nice to have an entie WORLD of Celine friends. The students really get on my nerves at school (is it just because I'm a guy?) I dunno. But what do I care?

I hardly told and still hardly tell anyone that I like Celine because I know what they'll think, and yes probably because we are guys. When people ask what music I listen to, I tell them I don't really listen to anything, accept mostly the AC radio stations. I keep it general. Sometimes when people are talking about singers I'll comment on how great Celine is and that she has that show in Vegas, but I try not to let on that I am one of the biggest Celine fans on the planet. Celine may not be a Pam Anderson or Britney Spears or Kylie Minogue (HOOOOTTTTT!!!!!) in terms of the hot department, but I do think Celine is kinda hot in her own way (and that's definitely NOT something I'd tell my friends. LOL) I told that to my dad and he thought I was freakin NUTS. After that I never told anyone. lol

HAHAHA I did the same way, and yes she is hot in her own way, but everyone thought I was out of my mind! But I really couldn't care less of what they think. She looks especially on the "ANDHC" front cover (HOT!!! ) I LOVE Celine, and not just as a singer, but in every way imaginable! She's so wonderful, and I thank God so much for her!

No she's no Britney, Christina, or Jessica... SHE'S 100% BETTER! SO HA! THERE YOU GO YOU FAKE DIVA'S! It's so rare to find a celebrity as posotive, and natural as she is. I love her!
