There are rumors about a radio date of ISSW in February. Let's hope it's true.

AllCeline, junior high and high school are the WORST, take it from me. I hardly told and still hardly tell anyone that I like Celine because I know what they'll think, and yes probably because we are guys. When people ask what music I listen to, I tell them I don't really listen to anything, accept mostly the AC radio stations. I keep it general. Sometimes when people are talking about singers I'll comment on how great Celine is and that she has that show in Vegas, but I try not to let on that I am one of the biggest Celine fans on the planet. Celine may not be a Pam Anderson or Britney Spears or Kylie Minogue (HOOOOTTTTT!!!!!) in terms of the hot department, but I do think Celine is kinda hot in her own way (and that's definitely NOT something I'd tell my friends. LOL) I told that to my dad and he thought I was freakin NUTS. After that I never told anyone. lol

The "radio date" is the date when all the radio stations around the US will be able to broadcast the track.

According to Radio&Records, ISSW is one of the most added tracks of the week on the canadian AC radio stations.

 

So, I think it has already started to spin in Canada.

Great idea, the proceeds from the sales should be in addition to the $1 million from the show.

Boy, that is a relief. I thought it went to the radio at the beginning of Dec.

28th of Feb. is just fine with me. ISSW is a great song and should do well on AC stations. Seems like Celine songs are only sent to A/C stations. ISSW could do well on Christian Pop as well. Stations can't play it if they don't have it. Could we do anything about it or would it fall on deaf ears???

Sony Music Poland wrote me:

 

we have no plan for realeasing this single - both commercially & for

But in Poland there's still "Beautiful Boy". I hope it will be released for promotional use in the countries that had no single (UK, Italy, Germany, Spain...) at least.

I know this may be "old" news, but I was listening to 106.7 Lite FM in the car yeaterday, and they were playing "I'm Alive!"

Hey Joel. I can't believe they played "I'm Alive"! I haven't heard that song on the radio in like two years! I hope they play it again, I'd go crazy too! I hope more stations play that song more, for some reason that song died out. I hope ISSW gets played more too!

On the topic of songs that have died out that were heard yesterday, I heard "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" in the car yesterday! Of course the volume went WAAAAAYYYYY UP (as did my excitement) when I heard the first note of the background music of that song. I wish though they would play more of Beautiful Boy and In Some Small Way, instead of her old songs.

ISSW still has only 12 spins this week according to mediabase. I don't think it is going too well at radio. I hope with all my heart I am wrong. It such a great song.

I can only hope Sony sent to, at least, Adult Comtempory stations.

Some radio stations are only testing the song. It will impact all the AC radio stations on Feb., 28th. So, we've got time!

Sony will release it to AC radio stations anyway on Feb., 28th. I think they want to test if the track has a good impact on the listeners.

Yes, the song officially goes for AC adds on February 28th, however I believe given the proper push, this song can even go to Pop radio.

 

Given the lyrics to this song, and after the devastating Tsunami, this is a good time to release the song.

 

Don't just go for AC stations. Try to get pop stations in it too. Send it to them if you have to. Let's get this song on the charts!!!!!

I hope Sony will release it for digital download, at least. So, it could have the chance to enter the Billbord Hot 100, since the chart changed last week adding digital download as element for editing it.
