ISSW is the most added track on the american AC radio stations (with 16 adds). so it's not bad.

Hey guys, I was reading your post and thought I'd touch on the subject as well. I know how you guys feel, I'm a 22 yr old guy and have gotten crap for liking celine all my life! lol I'm so used to it now, it doesn't even phase me. I get it from guys AND girls... so here, everyone pretty much dislikes Celine for some reason haha. But I tell people all the time, I think its funny to see the look on their faces, and I like defending her! hahaha. People pretty much know me as the guy who likes Celine and Judy!

I know exactly what you mean CelinFreak. But's I've gotten use to their rotten comments. Plus, I think I like sticking up for Celine. I just don't think they realize how many fans of Celine there really are! They'd be shock to know how many Celine FREAKS there are in the world. Celine ROCKS, and she always will, no matter what anyone says. Celine will never go out and he accomplishments will always be there no matter what! Celine will always be remebered and honored. And no one can change that!

I heard "You and I" on Lite FM. I still haven't been hearing ISSW all that much, although from the posts it seems like it's doing better than Beautiful Boy did (has anyone heard that song anymore, I think that one totally died out). Until I hear it playing incessantly on every radio station the way that some other songs have been lately, I won't be that impressed.

I think many of us have had this experience. My daughter and a few friends just look at me, Céline-ugh! Now, there seems to be a silent acceptance.

 

In Philadelphia, one radio station plays Céline's music. Unfortunately, it's the same three songs. I wrote to the station(B101 FM) asking them to play more recent music ,but my e-mail fell on deaf ears Oh well, I tried....

Is it me, or does that SUCK??? Don't successful songs usually take off quicker than that, and get played on more stations on the first week? I've not heard it on the radio at all lately. When ANDHC was released as a single, did it start out his slow? I doubt this song is going to do well. I think Celine needs to not release singles for awhile as much as we'd all hate that, and then come out with a really good one like she did with ANDHC, in order for her songs to succeed on the airwaves. U know I'd love for her to come out with singles very often, but unfortunately the radio stations are probably getting tired of her songs. Tina Turner's new single is out and doing well on the charts. I think if Celine waited a while, her songs would do better.

you can't compare ISSW to ANDHC. ANDHC is a long waited song when Celine come back with a lot promotion. and ANDHC pop-radio edition is a radio friendly song.

I can't understand how the Miracle album did so well, and yet the singles aren't doing well. I could understand if the album flopped. AllCeline, junior high and high school are the WORST, take it from me. I hardly told and still hardly tell anyone that I like Celine because I know what they'll think, and yes probably because we are guys. When people ask what music I listen to, I tell them I don't really listen to anything, accept mostly the AC radio stations. I keep it general. Sometimes when people are talking about singers I'll comment on how great Celine is and that she has that show in Vegas, but I try not to let on that I am one of the biggest Celine fans on the planet. Celine may not be a Pam Anderson or Britney Spears or Kylie Minogue (HOOOOTTTTT!!!!!) in terms of the hot department, but I do think Celine is kinda hot in her own way (and that's definitely NOT something I'd tell my friends. LOL) I told that to my dad and he thought I was freakin NUTS. After that I never told anyone. lol

Nah, Pam, Brit, and Kylie are just very sexual. Celine, on the other hand, is alluringly above that. I love her singing, and it comes from a very real, very warm place in her heart. As you get older like me, and you meet more people, you realise that looks don't really matter in the sense that it doesn't tell you what a person is truly like. But on the other hand - a beautiful heart makes the plainest face shine. Celine is of course very pretty (of course age is catching up), but the 1st thing we fans love about Celine is her singing - that means we're going to be fans even when she's 60 years old and looking it! Can't say the same for other singers.

 

I told my colleagues at work but no true Celine fans here so far...

 

Don't worry though - just be true to yourself - everyone wants to fit in especially when they're young and trying to find an identity for themselves. If they're going to hassle you about it then no point telling them - just keep this wonderful secret to yourself - selfish huh?

not all songs start this low. but most are.

 

ANDHC radio edition is light and pop. ISSW is too slow to broadcast in radio, will make most people sleep or want to trun to other station. I think it needs a radio editon, or it won't get well on chart.

 

and most Celine's album sell much better than her singles. cause most radio station don't like slow ballads, and SONY always choose the wrong single from her album.

HYEBIL made its debut at #24 on AC Chart. So, we have just to wait and see the debut of ISSW next week on AC Chart.

You are right about that, Sony has been making crappy choices about singles lately.

 

HYEBIL was a slow ballad and it did well, ISSW is actually a little more upbeat, so I'm hoping it will pick up on the charts. Fingers crossed!!!

I emailed my local radio station this week asking if they would play more of Celine's Song and especially "In Some Small Way". They have added ISSW to their playlist and it is playing a few times a week. The program director told me that someone else had written him this week saying that they play too much Celine. I told him, no way keep playing her more!
