Interviewing Celine

Okay. So we've all seen these REALLY typical interviews that people have done with Celine. All the same questions, all the same answers, and always the same techniques. Now, this is a place for you to GO FREE! Script-free! Make up interviews you might do with Celine. Here is one of my very own I like to call, "And So It Goes..."

 

INTERVIEW BY: ERIKA T.

 

Me: Hello Celine!

Celine: Hello........ What's your name?

Me: Erika..

Celine: Right, right. Hello Erika.

Me: Super. It's so great to have you here with us today!

Celine: I'm so proud!

Me: Okay then... Moving on. Omigod! I love your pants! Are they Channel?

Celine: No.

Me: What else could they possibly be if they look THAT great?

Celine: They're CHANEL.

Me: But I thought they were Channel.

Celine: Have you been somewhere too much?

Me: No (high squeaky voice)

Me: So Celine. Sweet, sweet Celine. What's your favourite alphabet letter?

Celine: I don't know, but it's not W.

Me: Gah! Me neither! What is with that number?

Celine: It's a letter, hun.

Me: Or is it??

Celine:

Me: Okay.. Well I guess I'll just launch right into the INTERVIEW. So. What do you really love?

Celine: I love so many different things.

Me: Like what? Little kittens and ducks?

Celine: Yes.

Me: Fat kids in tube tops?

Celine: Yes.

Me: Artificially flavoured computers?

Celine: Strange.. Yes.

Me: Do you like rolling in window moss?

Celine: Of course!

Me: Gelling your hair into a cone?

Celine: Yes.

Me: Can I have your hair tie?

Celine: No.

Me: Darnit. I can't see!

Celine: What's that rumbling sound?

Me: What rumbling sound?

Celine: The one coming from behind you... By your waist?

Me: I don't hear anything.

Celine: Nevermind. It stopped.

(10 second interval)

Celine: **Runs out covering her mouth and nose.. In a hurry**

Me: Wow.. And I thought loud ones didn't smell as much...

I wouldn't ask her about the past, especially about her 13 brothers and sisters and making music with the table dishes etc... but I would ask her about the future, her plans, her goals, her fears, what she misses the most about not having a normal life, and what is the best of having this life, about her writing own songs etc... How she sees RC in 20 years... I wouldn't have the nerve to ask her what if René dies, or your mother... but I would asked her about her family band now, now that she's so much in Vegas and one of the riches female singers in the world, and I wouldn't take granted with, 'we all have our gifts blablabla'....

 

That's how I would interview Céline... trying to find the inner Céline and not getting the standard anwsers!

on a more serious note, i would discuss the following:

 

- share some of your regrets

- if your plans with rene were to change suddenly, would you find yourself a new manager?

- talk to me about your father (childhood, death)

- which values are the most important to you with regards to child rearing

- how are the crowds in vegas different from you usual audiences

 

those are a few examples...

She would never makes you feel unconfortable, i'm sure of that, i imagine her the way she was with that girl who fells in that hockey game, when she was singing, she said it was natural, people get nervous... and everything, she would makes you fell confortable about er...farting lolol

Hey nice going. I'm sure she's run away from your farts, cause she's run away from mine as well! LOL! Seriously, I'd ask her if there was any chance if she's do another duet with her sister Claudette, how is your life in Vegas, um, I don't know. The ask her the questions over and over again, and I don't want to do that. I'm sure that the fans wouldn't do that either.

We know so much about our Celine that we could probably predict the answers to the questions. I mean she shares so much with us that it's hard to think of a question that we don't already know the answer to.

 

I personally would like to get into Celine's head...I've seen the way she talks to people whether it be celebrity, fan, family...whatever...I wanna ask her how she feels when she meets a fan, a famous person, a family, I want to know if she is superficial when she talks to her fan.

 

That's my fear of meeting her as a fan, I fear she will just see me as any other fan, and just say her usual script "Hello, how are you? Don't cry. Nice to Meet you. Can I sign that for you. I love you too. Goodbye."

The very best interview I've heard from Celine was the one in "Toute Une Vie" En Francais though. If you understand French, this guy nailed it with her. You could tell in her responses both visually and otherwise, this was not your ordianry interview nor one that really was ever done before. Tremendous interview.

Oh I know. Well, if you acted special, she'd treat you a different way. Be yourself. A lot of fans just freak out and all act the same. I'd be myself. Crazy ole' me lol. I'd even print out my interview and show it to her LMAO. Wonder what she'd do...
