shrinking video's sizes

Hi you all!

 

I've recently installed a video capture software to my pc for transffering Videos to my computer.

 

However, it's coming out in a huge size.

 

Video with normal quallty of 2 min long takes something like 289 MG.

 

I know you people upload here videos all the time so I hope someone here knows how to shrink or compres them into a smaller size (and no, I don't mean zip).
