LOL! When I say classical, I mean like insturmental classical. Like Strings. A big orchestra. Piano pieces. Just instrumental. No singing involved. :)

Classical Music is very eclectic.

And if you ever take a music theory or music history class, you will begin to understand and appreciate this music, which is the highest standard of music.

I attend the symphony very often, and yes, classical music is very therapeutic.

I grew up listening and playing classical music. My father sings in a professional chorus in Philadelphia( The Mendelssohn Club) who has performed with Pavarotti,Kiri Te Kanawa as well as other well known artists. Past conductors included Eugene Ormandy, Riccardo Muti, etc. John Williams was a guest conduct which was exciting.

Here is the link for the chorus:

If you click on staff and scroll down to singers, my father's name is under bass-Richard Klafter

Pachel Cannon is soothing and has a calming effect. Couples used it constantly for their weddings and it was used in many commerical in the 80's so it's not one of my favorite pieces of music.

The score from Camina Burana composed by Karl Orff has been been used many times in commercials including the movie Excalibur, but the lyrics are wonderful. Every time my father sings this piece of music, I look forward to hearing it. I have the cd and play it often.

Every Christmas season, the group sings The Messiah and in the past have encouraged audience participation. I had a score and had fun joining the chorus.

I am a big fan of Renaissance and Medieval music in additional to the well known classical composers.

Hope this post didn't put people to sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :lmao:

We might kiss when we are alone... When nobody's watching... We might take it home... We might make out... When nobody's there... It's not that we're scared... It's just that it's delicate... We might live like never before... When there's nothing to give... Well how can we ask for more... We might make love in some sacred place... The look on your face is delicate

I really enjoy the music, it's very soothing. My ex-roommate is a classical music freak, he wants to become a conductor some day. It's funny how he moves his hands to the music.

I and all my classmates love Pachelbel's Canon, too!!! I love Chopin's songs most, even it's very difficult to play on piano, except Raindrop, it's really easy and it's sweet. I also like "Flight of the Bumblebee", it really sounds like bees buzzing aroud.
