It's All Coming Back... VH1 Special

I wonder if any of you noticed but today I watched the special and among others Céline sang It's All Coming Back (All The Way To My Bank Account) and to my surprise it wasn't all that good vocally actually!

 

Everyone has been praising it but hmmmmm she missed the proper notes at least 3 times and at one point she went as MUCH nasal as she did on IA. I was LIKE: HA! HEre you have it!

 

But what I love LOVE about her is her perfectionism - notice that every dam time she made a mistake and didn't hit a note during this performance, she topped that mistake with another perfect note, so powerful and so controlled. That's the Céline of 1996.

Hi, have not seen this particular programme, but I think that Celine has always vocal performances like thids throughout the years, they bring out some of the best in her. The live versions of songs often seem richer than studio because I think that more of the performer goes into them (that probably doesn't make sense?).

I think she is singing very well currently, there is less focus on the vocal gymnastics than in the past and that is refreshing also.

did anyone watch celine on E Biograthy channel, sky tv, she was talking of her life, how las Vegas came about, and one point she made id like to share , her words were, "if you want to hear a perfect Celine but the album, if you see me live Expect anything" she also went on later to say, i know my voice has changed, but that is what live singing is "

 

 

She was amazing ive never seen that interview it was 2hrs long and i could have watced a nother 10

i have to agree - i absolutely love the improvised ending of this song - much much better than the album

 

i find myself rewinding that particular part over and over
