AND June 24th & 25th 2006

Hi Everyone! My partner & I just got back from Las Vegas after seeing AND on Saturday, June 24 and on Sunday, June 25. Celine sounded awesome both nights.....I think the best I have heard her sound in a while. This was our 6th and 7th AND shows. On Saturday night, we sat in the 2nd Mez section. Every time we have been to AND, we have either sat on the 2nd or 3rd row but this time I wanted to see the show one night from the upper section so that I could actually watch the show since I usually focus only on Celine the entire show. That was really great. We both really like the show from these seats. You see so much more of the show, but seeing Celine up close is also awesome!

 

It had been almost a year since we had seen the show and most things were still the same. ATW was new, of course, and it was fantastic. The audience really liked her performance of this song. She is still wearing the white shirt and suspenders, but she did have on the new dress at the end of the show that we have all seen in the 500th show pictures. She wore her hair up on both nights while wearing this dress. The other change that I noticed in the show was during Pour que tu m'aimes encore. During past show performances, two of the dancers would dance in the background while Celine was singing the song....just like they used to do during ISSW. But during these two performances, all of the dancers came out during the song and either sat or stood on the steps in the background, but no one danced. So that was small change.

 

The audience was great both nights, but the best on Sunday night. This was the first show for me ever that the audience stood and clapped completely thru LCMM and IDAN. Every other show that I have been to, the audience sat down half way thru IDAN, but finally this time they all stood! So that was fun!

 

Overall it was a great trip and we had a lot of fun. The boutique doesn't really have a lot of new things which was disappointing. I do wish they made a few shirts for guys.

 

Does anyone know if they are planning on releasing a new program? I know that the show only has a year and a half left, but the song list and some of the pictures are really outdated in the program.

Unfortunately it wasn't me! Both nights she gave the rose to a lady on the left side of the stage....or the right side of the stage for Celine. I would love it if she gave me the rose at the end of a show!
