i don't know how many of you like Carole King but I love her music.

 

On June 7 she celebrated the release of her Tapestry albumn. It has been out for 35 years. I think that is quite impressive and it has been one of the greatest albumn of all time.

 

What is your favorite song from the Tapestry albumn?

Hey I can´t say because i don´t regonize her songs except few of them and they are:

 

Natural Woman-Aretha Franklin-Celine Dion.

If It´s Over co-written with Mariah Carey for her Emotions album 1991.

The Reason-Celine Dion.

You´ve Got A friend.

??

What more has she done.

I can't believe it's already 35 years old. It's a really good album. I love "I Feel The Earth Move" and "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?" and all the other songs, I don't think there is any I don't like on it, those two are my favourite ones.

I'm not big on Carole's voice, but to be honest, I've only heard recent material and she may have sounded much better 35 years ago. I'll have to listen to a few clips from this album and see what it's about. She may have had the perfect voice for the style of music around back then. Wow, that's even before my time!! But I love the music from then, so I'll check it out. Thanks, CG.

Actually what I love about Carole is that her voice has sounded the same throughout the years. Like cd she seems to be really old even though she was somewhere in her 20s when it was recorded.

Aretha said it was very proper to sing that song with the songwriter Carole King at that night, Then when Carole started to sing her verse, Aretha oversung her. It makes Carole mad. Carole said she feels happy that Celine stand out, and makes Aretha realised that she can't oversing everyone.

Yeah, Aretha had no respect for Carole, and if you watch the video, it's not like Aretha just forgot, Carole opens her mouth with the mic to sing, and Aretha keps going.

 

What annoys me more is when lambs try and blame Céline, saying she should have given Carol her part to sing!
