And all the newest news about Whitney can be found on this fan forum.

The Troubled diva isn´t hasbeen anymore and she is finish polishing her longwaited studio album since 2005? The album is set to be released late this year or in early next year.

Executive Producers: Walter Afanasieff&Clive Davis and Whitney Houston.Other collaborators including Celine´s partners David Foster, and Walter Afanasieff among Others as Babyface and Kanye West.

Clive wanted someone like Walter Afanasieff to bring back Whitney´s glory and so she can be a household name again in the music world. Walter is best known for Beiing Mariah Carey´s partner&Musical director in the 90´s until Butterfly era. He stands behind such artists as Celine acourse,Michael Bolton, KennyG, Josh Groban, Savage Garden, Lara fabian, Marc Anthony, Jessica Simpson&More. :flowers:

Walter was whitney´s session player back in the 80´s in albums like 1985 Whitney Houston,1987 Whitney and 1990 I,m Your Baby Tonight,, He also appears in Whitney Houston,s video I Wanna Dance With Somebody Who Loves Me 1987. :D You can see Walter,s name were Narada Michael Walden is Producer.

So what do you think guys can Whitney bring back her Queen status and is she able to bring some high notes again after her drug&Alcohol habit... God Bless Whitneyi pray for her soul. :innocent:

Whitney Houston has done too many comebacks, and she keeps going back for more drugs. I do have sympathy for her, because not everybody has the strength to overcome their addictions. It is NOT easy, and Whitney has failed to overcome for all these years.

Clive Davis seems to enjoy money.

And since Whitney is (or was) his personal diva and very close friend, he will do whatever he can to encourage her. And any music product that Whitney sells will most likely get him some more profits. Unfortunately, any "new" Whitney will not be the same as the young Whitney.

:innocent: That is all true Whitney won´t be able to sing like she could in the old days but she will hopefully deliver a great album since the flop off Just Whitney in 2002 and One Wish 2003? both badly done. There is one thing though Whitney and Celine are always my favorit divas no matter what with Mariah Carey acourse? :whistling:

I was never really into her music, her drug addiction is a turn off. But, she does have some good songs in my collection.

I don't know if she can make a comeback. It's not that she doesn't have what it takes vocally (maybe she does, maybe she doesn't) but I think society has lost a lot of faith in her. I'm sure she has the diehard fans that will buy her album, but many won't. They'll flip their hands and say..."Forget it. She'll just be back in court with Bobby and taking drugs again in a few months anyway. She hasn't changed."

Even if she does make some sort of comeback...how long will it last? Has she learned anything and changed her ways? Has she cleaned up her life, or will she just make an album and go back down her manic road all over again? Has she reinvented herself enough to be able to make a great album and handle what comes next?

I'm not sure Whitney has what it takes inside to do it. But I wish her all the best and hope that she does.

 You know what Mazceline you are absolutely right Whitney is the reason that i became a Celine fan at the first place and she is a legend she is the idol for many artists that came after her etc: Celine, Mariah,Christina, Jessica, and so on.

Whitney has her problems in life and i always pray for her to be all right soon and with this album news and someone like Walter Afanasieff who will rebuild her glory she must be back and i really hope she will stay clean and happy for many years to come. :innocent:

Her vocals are like flabs on an untoned body - really really out of shape. What I'm going to add is that her voice will need a lot of digital intervention. :giggle:
