catwomanrrr Posted June 21, 2006 at 08:24 PM Posted June 21, 2006 at 08:24 PM Whitney Houston has done too many comebacks, and she keeps going back for more drugs. I do have sympathy for her, because not everybody has the strength to overcome their addictions. It is NOT easy, and Whitney has failed to overcome for all these years. Clive Davis seems to enjoy money. And since Whitney is (or was) his personal diva and very close friend, he will do whatever he can to encourage her. And any music product that Whitney sells will most likely get him some more profits. Unfortunately, any "new" Whitney will not be the same as the young Whitney. There is one thing though Whitney and Celine are always my favorit divas no matter what with Mariah Carey acourse? Quote http://i46.tinypic.com/2nvtcpl.jpg

Koolan Posted June 22, 2006 at 01:19 AM Posted June 22, 2006 at 01:19 AM I was never really into her music, her drug addiction is a turn off. But, she does have some good songs in my collection. VanMerlin Posted June 22, 2006 at 03:02 PM Posted June 22, 2006 at 03:02 PM I don't know if she can make a comeback. It's not that she doesn't have what it takes vocally (maybe she does, maybe she doesn't) but I think society has lost a lot of faith in her. I'm sure she has the diehard fans that will buy her album, but many won't. They'll flip their hands and say..."Forget it. She'll just be back in court with Bobby and taking drugs again in a few months anyway. She hasn't changed." Even if she does make some sort of comeback...how long will it last? Has she learned anything and changed her ways? Has she cleaned up her life, or will she just make an album and go back down her manic road all over again? Has she reinvented herself enough to be able to make a great album and handle what comes next? I'm not sure Whitney has what it takes inside to do it. But I wish her all the best and hope that she does. Quote

What I'm going to add is that her voice will need a lot of digital intervention. Quote http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n28/rhymereason/dreambig.jpg
