Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day. :flowers: What will you specially do for your father to celebrate this very special day? Buying presents for him? Bringing him out for a big meal? Or just hiding in your own room listening to Celine's or Luther's "Dance With My Father" and shedding your tears secretly? :giggle: Mothers are great but fathers too are very dedicated to us I think. Their hard work and sacrifices for us are both equal and irreplaceable. :thumbsup2:

As for me, I am now in overseas doing my studies and I miss my parents a lot. It's too late for me to send my dad a gift when I realized it's Father's Day but I would definitely give him a call and wish him a warm "Happy Father's Day". :)

Father's day? Hmmm probably nothing. Maybe I'll give him chocolate or ice cream or whatever... I'm barely going to see him anyway since I'm out most of the day.

I don't think my dad has any idea - he hasn't said anything.

Probably give him a call, seeing as I live half way across the country from him

We might kiss when we are alone... When nobody's watching... We might take it home... We might make out... When nobody's there... It's not that we're scared... It's just that it's delicate... We might live like never before... When there's nothing to give... Well how can we ask for more... We might make love in some sacred place... The look on your face is delicate

I went to visit him. He celebrated his 74th b-day a few days before, so I thought I would pop in and surprise him and my Mom.

While I was there, I had to fix his lap-top and desk-top computers... as I seem to be the computer wiz of the family?! Since he is blind and has to work by touch and using the JAWS program it's harder for him to really fully understand the workings of the computer. Not to mention MOST people his age don't even know how to turn one on! LOL!! But we had a good visit - talked about our Houston Astros - books - and of course computers.

Hope all of you - at the least - called your Dad and wished him a happy day.

** A special "Happy Father's Day" goes out to Céline's #1 fan - Adhemar - wherever you are! XXOO!!
