catwomanrrr Posted June 20, 2006 at 05:28 AM Posted June 20, 2006 at 05:28 AM I really only truly enjoy TTWII... and it's kinda funny because during the time that song came out, it was during the successful years of the Backstreet Boys, and there's a line in the TTWII where Celine goes "yeah..." and it sounded almost like a part in BSB's "I Want it That Way" Quote http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n28/rhymereason/dreambig.jpg

I really like TTWII, IHT and Faith! he gave céline a new sound, especially with TTWII, the only one too much BSB is LIAWN I was really surprised that he co-wrote It's my life, with Bon Jovi! Kian Posted August 8, 2006 at 09:50 AM Posted August 8, 2006 at 09:50 AM I don't care what anyone says about quality of his songs, I LOVE them. The only song I listen rarely is Love is all we need and I agree that it's the weakest link but I don't think it's bad or anything. Quote
Marcc Posted August 8, 2006 at 10:13 AM Posted August 8, 2006 at 10:13 AM Instead of most fans, I just like the song "Love is all we need". I think that it is a rarely song for Celine, but that's just the strength of this song! A bit rocky! "In his touch" is also a favorite of the album "One Heart"! Celinemaniac Posted August 8, 2006 at 07:30 PM Posted August 8, 2006 at 07:30 PM "That's The Way It Is" was a differnet pop song for Celine. Something really fresh for the time it came out - it was when Britney and BSB were at their peak. The result was a commercial hit (but also, a good, positive song). That means more people liked Celine... Then, why not something similar like "Love Is All We Need"? It is a good pop song, not without a meaning! The production is more BSB, but I don't see the problem with that. If it was a single, it would be a hit. And people who liked "That's The Way It Is", they would probably like this one too. Same for "Faith". "Tous Les Secrets/Let Your Heart Decide", is more like "That's The Way It Is", talking about production. Guys, if we ask for innovation in Celine's songs, we have to face the result, good or bad. It can't be well accepted by everyone. "In His Touch": a pop ballad, a bit dark. If you pay attention, you will hear that the backing vocals are kind of 'masked', like vocoder. That the 'innovation' to this song (and the 'skritch-skratch' at the begining).
