I have offered to send her money for food (which she desperately needs) and she said that $100 a week is plenty for food for the 6 of them. Is this right? In Ireland that'd barely be enough for 2? If anyone could give me an idea of the cost of a weeks basic grocery shopping i'd be eternally grateful....
