Which songs do you want performed live?

I was wondering about too many great songs never sung really live.... We could get bored of Celine singing the same songs during 5 or 6 years in Vegas, or to see her singing others songs while she has a great store of never perfomed Live songs....

To me .... I´d say miles to go.... in the ACDS DVD she said "I think This song is great for the stage".... Why did she never do it???...

I'm grossly bothered by "I Believe in You" because of Il Divo , but I want her to do a solo version of the song.

 

But I'm gonna give my thoughts on each of the songs:

 

Ain´t Gonna Look the Other way - YES YES YES!!!

Baby Close Your eyes - This could possibly be a substitue for "If I Could"

I Know what Love is - If she did, I'd die and gone to heaven! I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!

Right in front of You -

If that´s what it takes - She's performed Pour que tu m'aime encore so many times, but YES ENGLISH< please?

Dreaming of you :woot:

Us - Yes, another song that will kill me! This song would be Orgasmic LIVE :woot:

Be the man - I want to hear her sing this with one verse in Japanese

Miles to Go - One of favs. I love this song.

Then you look at me WOW, YES

I want you to need me WOW, YES

Where is the Love - I don't know about this one.... :/

Oh Holy Night - She's already done this LIVE and I'd rather here DSIAFCD

Nothing broken but my heart - Yes, I'd like to hear her sing some old classics

Just walk away - YES WOW YES

When I need you - YES WOW YES

Just a little bit of love - I think she sang this during LTAL World Tour, but I wanna hear it!

Well, it would be easier for me to say all of the above, with the exception of DOY, MTG, NBBMY, LYHD, and OHN. To only choose one from that list is impossible for me!!!

 

It's a pretty good list. I look forward to the French one.

 

And I second a solo IBIY. Il Divo can miss their plane that day.

AJ, I think you might be right about O Holy Night

Well, I still choose DSIAFCD over O Holy Night.

 

And I remember on an old Celine site called Celine Dion - Colour of My Love (it's a website with pale green colors) - they mentioned that Celine performed "Just a Little Bit of Love" during her LTAL World Tour stop in Hawaii. Does someone know anything about this?

I would love to hear Celine perform The Colour Of My Love. To me this is the greatest love song ever written and of course, Celine makes even better with her power voice and beautiful tone! I cry almost every time when I hear it, especially when I am with my husband.

"Where Is The Love" : I definitely want to hear that live. It's such an amazing song, the best from Let's Talk About Love album. So sad

"Then You Look At Me" : She should sing this one with a symphonic orchestra. It would sound great

"Right In Front Of You" : Wonderful song from A New Day Has Come. It's so fresh and easy. It can sound really good live.

 

I'd also love to hear a live version of "I Don't Know", I don't know, there's something about the English version. It's so powerful and thrilling, almost as good as "Je sais pas"

It's from Les Enfoires in 1996. She sang "L'amour existe encore" and a medley of French songs with Patrick Bruel and Carole Fredericks

I picked "Then You Look At Me." It's such a powerful song, and it shows Celine's vocal abilities exceptionally well! It's one of my all-time favorites of hers, as well as "Miles To Go (Before I Sleep)."

 

As for "Just A Little Bit Of Love," I don't believe this song has ever been performed live anywhere, but I could be wrong. But that was my second choice, followed by MTG(BIS).

 

I believe "O Holy Night" was performed live, but I think they just dubbed the album version over her actual voice like they did with "Goodbye's (The Saddest Word)" in the A New Day Has Come special.

 

And as I recall I vaguely remember hearing that when she was promoting the Celine Dion album she did in fact sing NBBMH. Again, I could be wrong.

Oh, and I also agree about "I Believe In You"/Il Divo. They can fall off the face of the earth and I don't think that the music scene would suffer one bit.
