Celcool Posted January 21, 2005 at 10:14 AM Posted January 21, 2005 at 10:14 AM Hey! Need help. Does anybody know which software is good for saving stream Quicktime videos. I wanna save one on my computer from a website, only for my use of course. Quote
leenylover Posted January 21, 2005 at 05:54 PM Posted January 21, 2005 at 05:54 PM If you can right click the player while it is running, select properties and it should give you the direct link to download it, You should be able to use that link in any normal download manager such as flashget, if it's still a bit tricky try a program called Streamdown. It's free and you should be able to find it with a quick search in google. That normally works for me, other than that I'm not sure. Hope that helps Love Lisaxxx Quote My List of Celine Dion stuff, PM me to trade!

Koolan Posted January 21, 2005 at 06:57 PM Posted January 21, 2005 at 06:57 PM Did you have to click on a link for the quicktime video to show up? If that's the case, then you can get the url to the streaming file easily. Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Celcool Posted January 21, 2005 at 09:23 PM Author Posted January 21, 2005 at 09:23 PM (edited) I used Streamdown, I just had to figure out the link to the video. That's how I got to the link: I just right-clicked somewhere on the website and clicked on "see source code". I'm not sure if this is the right expression cuz I have it in my own language. If you happen to know the right one, could you tell me? It opens in Notebook. There I just looked for a link with the extension .mov. I found it. The link was the same as the link to the webpage. I just had to change .html with .mov. Voila! Edited January 21, 2005 at 09:25 PM by Celcool Quote
