1) Can somebody explain to me what was so 'awful' about the short, bleached hair? I read those comments on how terrible she looked, and I simply do not get it. It may not have been her best, but the reactions to it seem entirely disproportional. I am personally glad that Céline is so open minded and inclined to experiment with her looks.

 

2) As for the make up - I personally think it looks a little heavy on her lately, I wish she wore something lighter. Her make up surely is not the most natural I have seen, it even looks a little cakey on HQ pictures. Maybe she should wear something more undetectable, like the kind of make up developed especially for HDTV.

i think sometimes she knew how to look good with it but most of the time she didn't like when she started to makee it curly on that show of the comidian ,sorry can't remember his name,but it looked terrible

It depends on the hairstyle. I saw a few pictures of her short bleached hair and she looked lovely. There were times when it worked for her. Other styles were ghastly. She had the potential to look beautiful with that hair, but the style where it was all puffed out and looked like a helmet wasn't as flattering. Plus, it was a great shock and, while people may have hated it then, I daresay that a scant FEW might look back and now like it because they're more used to it.

i don't miss it at all i miss the long long hair again and i don't know why she cut it again for celine it gave her elegance and beauty but that length she has know i think it's comman and and just normal i hope the long one returns back

i like how celine looks now. i like the hair and the make up. i actaully liked the blonde phase- when it was in the show. i didnt think it looked that great outside of it. on special occasions when she did her make up right it looked good. i love the platinum blonde in the show. i think its looked great and putside it looked good to. i hated the old blonde out of the show when it was extremely short. when it grew out more it looked classic.

but during ltal period her hair wasn't that good not in the videos but interviws an live concert like live in memphis it looked as if it was not done and she always did something verry strange from the front that i don't know who told her that if any one can post a pic u will see what i mean

I think the blonde hair looked like a Caesar’s hair, and fit well with her Roman looking nose. It also fit with the name of the theatre at which she performs. But I guess most people simply did not have the Rome and Caesar associations the hairstylist may have hoped to create with the short, bleached hair.

I completely agree with your opinions about the hair and the make up. i think that with the hair long and make alittle bit more glossy and colourful she looks much more fresh and young. i really really love the make up and hair in the LIVE IN MEMPHIS she just looked amazin, lovely and wild, but you know as we all fans, love the celine herself. BUT CELINE PLS LISTEN TO US : you are still much more younger than the other artists in age, but because of the make up, you look older than them.

sure, as i said in the previous reply, just look again at her lips in live im memphis, in TO LOVE YOU MORE and BECAUSE YOU LOVED ME performance. the lips looks full, i think its because of the lip liner and the make up, you know i dont like the way some people do that with injection, its better to do that with make up. what do you think ? whats your idea about the color of hair and eyebrow, do you prefer the dark one or light one ? for instance MISLED video. looking froward to hearing form you. another thing pls take alook at my new post and send your idea about that, ok ?

about the eyebrows i think she doesn't have to make them very thin bec she has very thick eyebrows and that makes her eyes look more beautiful but when she cut her hair made her eyebrows yellow and thin it wasn't her at all and for the hair as long as it's tall any colour will be nice ,sure thanks
