A New Day on the road

If Celine is likely to tour again after Vegas, do you think she'd choose to do it with the same kind of setlist and show as A New Day? I think it could happen- it just needs to be on a smaller scale. I think that would be very cool indeed, although admittedly, I'd rather see her rock the World with a huge new album and tour the stadiums promoting that.

 

I suppose the A New Day setlist is sort of 'Greatest Hits' which is more for performers who don't have any more to give...ok, so I've just answered my own question...just after the success of the show in Vegas, there is a potential for it to be a hit if it travelled.

its what ive been praying for, but i think when a new day has finished so will she, or id like to hope that she would do a last world tour, i am afraid as i think she has had enough, but i hope not

Madonna's concerts are always HUGE in performance wise and always have a lot going on and she manages to tour with shows like that! Of course it costs an arm and a leg to watch it but then so does Celine in vegas.

I don't think she'd do something like the New Day show on tour. Wasn't one of the reasons for basing it in Las Vegas because she wanted to that type of show and it would have been difficult to take that "on the road"?

Yea, she always says that AND is the kind of show you can't travel with. And, really you can't. I mean think about 60-70 people traveling around the world (that's just Celine, dancers, musicans). Not counting everyone else. Having to put them all in a hotel, etc. It would be crazy! She may be able to do a smaller scale of it. But, I think when the Vegas run is over...it should stay that way. I don't think she should travel with it. That's the whole point of basing it in Las Vegas.

A New Day . . . . around the World! I love the idea but definitely not going to happen guys, although I think the show concept will have had a huge impact on Celine and her approach to any future concerts. I am sure visuals and dancers will be much more involved in future, who knows what the future will bring!

Isn't it true though that Celine and Rene have made numerous comments saying how it would be nearly impossible to travel with a show like A New Day? And do not get me wrong, I love the show, but if the show were to be toned down, what would be left? There is no doubt that it would be an amazing show to see if it were possible, though!

 

In fact, I am still very surprised to hear about Celine touring in France after her contract is over. At one time, I thought she had sworn off touring? I may be wrong but I always remember hearing her say that she would never tour again but would never leave the spotlight completely. I am not complaining by all means, even though I do wish the tour would be in the US, but I guess we can't be too picky.

No, actually, A New Day isn't where Celine can get her greatest hits out of the way. I don't blame her if she didn't want to tour again because of her son. I've seen Celine live twice, and I think that she does pput on a great show live, but I don't know. I guess she doesn't ant her son to grow up the way she did.
