Céline's Blues Posted June 5, 2006 at 02:00 PM Posted June 5, 2006 at 02:00 PM I'm just listening to some of Take That's old songs...and I strangely confess they are like ten thousand times better than ANYTHING that you hear on the radio nowadays. You actually sense the quality they have put into their music. "Pray" is so great with its vocal harmonies. Where has all the good radio music gone now? Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

Oh, the many facets of Siur...scrolling down over scantily clad men and then hitting the My Little Ponies romping through a meadow... Quote
Bellamy Posted June 5, 2006 at 03:34 PM Posted June 5, 2006 at 03:34 PM Robbie Williams was from Take That. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!

Oh, the many facets of Siur...scrolling down over scantily clad men and then hitting the My Little Ponies romping through a meadow...<{POST_SNAPBACK}>LOL !!!! You got the picture, Merlin! I love'em all! Ponies and Take That! And Sainkho: http://www.euritmica.it/content/images/sainkho.jpghttp://www.tampere.fi/musicfestivals/jazz2000minus/gallery/sainkho.jpghttp://www.wieesihrgefaellt.de/FotosDownload/sainkho2.jpg But Merlin, Take That weren't nearly as successful in North America as they were in Europe - whole Europe was like RAVING and in literal FEVER. Truly, they are like the biggest boyband ever here. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg
VanMerlin Posted June 5, 2006 at 03:40 PM Posted June 5, 2006 at 03:40 PM Ah yes, and the Sainkho facet... So, I suppose the closest thing to Take That would have been "New Kids On The Block" over here...same time period I think. Gawd I hated the New Kids!! I hope the music from Take That was at least a little more mature and respectable in the music industry, and not trash like the 'Kids'...though I bet not. Quote
Céline's Blues Posted June 5, 2006 at 03:42 PM Author Posted June 5, 2006 at 03:42 PM LOL, I adore one single New Kidz songs hahaha But the rest wasn't really all that. I can upload some of Take That's songs for you. I mean they have fast paced dance numbers and Céline-like mellow ballads, but really really nice. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg
VanMerlin Posted June 5, 2006 at 03:44 PM Posted June 5, 2006 at 03:44 PM No, it's okay, Siur. Don't go to the trouble. Just give me a few song titles and I can download them from somewhere. Quote
Céline's Blues Posted June 5, 2006 at 03:51 PM Author Posted June 5, 2006 at 03:51 PM "Back For Good" = Céline's ballad, very nice. "Pray" = SUCHA hit "Relight My Fire" = Disco hit no.1 across whole Europe feat. a very old British singer Lulu "Love Ain't Here Anymore" = gorgeous ballad Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

babymonkey Posted June 6, 2006 at 07:24 PM Posted June 6, 2006 at 07:24 PM I have to say, Take That were imho the best boyband of the last 2 decades. They blew anything America could throw at us away! Bozone, Westlife*shudder*.... or any of those other bands that have since come (and mostly gone) could not hold a candle to them. Robbie Williams (though it pains me to say it) is very, very good at what he does.... and in Gary Barlow you have one of the greatest and most successful song writers of his generation! nano Posted June 7, 2006 at 05:06 PM Posted June 7, 2006 at 05:06 PM Oh..I used to be a huge fan. and I still like their songs such as: babe, love ain't here anymore, pray, relight my fire, back for good etc etc....I have one live concert on vhs, Live In Berlin or something..it is a great show. *memories* Quote "Today, I’m a person on a path of connecting with my source and understanding that I am on the leading edge of creation.."
mazceline Posted June 11, 2006 at 02:06 PM Posted June 11, 2006 at 02:06 PM i know when i went to the concert the other month, i felt like they were still around singing away, they were great best male band better than boyzone and westlife, even though i like them both, GO TAKE THAT,,,i wish robbie had have joined them, it gets me that Gary was the main singer far better than the rest, but when solo, Robbie has shinned Quote http://i16.tinypic.com/7yg8tv8.jpgSignature made by the webmiss of www.celinerific.comCeline is in 2 words MY ANGEL x x
