A song that you hate from Celine

lol Celine must be regretting doing Treat Her Like A Lady, not only did it get slammed by critics but us fans don't like it either. Madonna had the same problem with her rap in American Life but that was much worse (lyrically at least!) than THLAL.

I for one like what Ric Wake and Céline did on that lil song - it surely didn't fit on LTAL but as song for itself it's very well made and somewhat experimental for Céline.

although it is, for me, PAINFUL to see how some people posted such great songs as GRATING (e.g., TU NAGES, JE CROIS TOI, LOVE IS ALL WE NEED, CALLING YOU; all favourites of mine)...

 

now, i guess, it is time for me to break some of YOUR hearts (lol) (i'm being dramatic for effect here)...

 

here is my list of a few songs i normall skip on CELINE's recordings:

 

-im loving every moment with you

-love can move mountains (especially LIVE, with the exception of a few performances, e.g., on ARSENIO HALL)

-loving proof

-real emotion

-only one road

-no living without loving you

-just walk away

-declaration of love

-because you loved me

-destin

-love is on the way

-prayer (not THE PRAYER; i LOVE that song!)

-je lui dirai

-all other songs that appear on multiple releases, unchanged (e.g., brahm's lullaby, have you ever been in love--although i love that song, the first time ever i saw your face--also a song i love, but twice? get real!)

 

these are my least-liked CELINE SONG, and yes, there are many, but know that i could have added more...

 

in closing, i will remind you that i esteem CELINE to be the finest female singer to have ever graced this planet; she's also a terrific person, mother, and role model.

well,it's so unbelievable for me to see a lot of people writing 'l hate you then i love you'.coz it's one of my favourites that i always add it in my playlist.

instead i would say 'have you ever been in love'.

i really can't stand that song i am also sorry that Celine loves it a lot.as far as i know she sang it in two albums of her.

hey esty,

i gotta tell you that, the topic which you post is a kind of strange and wiered. but on the other hand, new, cos to be honest i didnt think or it didnt come to my mind ever if i hate some of her songs. such as other guys, i think i dont hate any of her songs but there are few ones that i listen less and they are:

1- ONE HEART

2- LOVIN PROOF

3- NO LIVIN WITHOUT LOVIN YOU

4- HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN LOVE

but to my surprise some of you guys chose some of song that i really love them , of course maybe the songs i've chosen are the ones that you love, vise versa. funny topic

Oh my goodness! I can't believe so many people dislike IHYTILY, THLAL, and HYEBIL! I <333 these songs! There are several others that have been repeatedly listed (Regarde-moi ESPECIALLY!!!) that are my favs!
