May/June Graphics Contest Rules & Guidelines

I'm so extremely glad to announce Celine Channel Forum's first ever, graphics contest! My anticipation for what you all will create is most definitely building up! You will be creating a signature and avatar set. Here's all the info you'll need to know about the contest.

 

Rules:

1. You may use only the photos provided. All photo must be used!

2. Using more than one photo-editing software (i.e. Photoshop, PaintShop, etc.) is permitted.

3. Your graphics must be 100% original. This means you will not be able use pre-made backgrounds, or extract elements from someone else's work.

4. Your work must be brand new! Graphics which were created before the contest announcements will not be accepted. Please be truthful!

5. You must enter only one (1) avatar and one (1) signature graphic.

 

 

Guidelines

1. Your avatar must be no bigger than 150x150 pixels.

2. Your signature graphic must be either 600x420 pixels or 500x150 pixels. No other canvas size will be accepted.

3. Your avatar must be no larger than 100kbytes.

4. You signature must be no larger than 150kbytes.

5. Creating a wallpaper is optional, but is not required for acceptance.

You must enter by sending me a PM, with "Graphics Contest" in the subject line. Include your avatar and signature in the PM.

Hosting:

You can host your files by attaching them as attachments in your entry PM, or by hosting them on a free image hosting service like Image Shack, or you can also host the files on your own server.

Questions:

 

Why must all photos be used?

This help for more creativity. And all photos don't have to be used in ONE graphic. For example, paticipants may use 2 pics in the siggy and 2 in the avatar, or in any other order they wish. (Don't forget that this also applies to the optional wallpaper as well).

 

Why send entries to you by PM? Why not post in a specific topic?

It'll help participants to be more original. Seeing other people's work can sometimes distract a designer from what THEY can do.

 

Who will be the judge?

After all entries are in, a poll will be held for all members to vote.
