Dreams

Dreams have always fascinated me. How the human mind can use symbolism to help release pain, joy, or any other type of emotions while we sleep will always remain one of the biggest gifts God could have ever given us, humans.

With that said, if anybody has any dreams that they would like for me to try and interpret post them here. I'll do the best I can. But please note that what my interpretation is does not mean that's what your dream means. Dreams are very, VERY personal for each person. What a shark may mean to one person doesn't mean it would to another.

Also, if for some reason a random object or person or place shows up in your dream, it could also mean that you had either seen it, heard it, or thought of it the night before. Therefore, it may not have any significant meaning other than just repeating what you had seen, heard, or thought the night before.

BRING ON THE DREAMS! :) :D B)

Okay, I got a question...what do you think it means to be chased through a mall by BIG BAD BEARS!!!

Geez, I have at least three dreams each and every night...and can remember almost every detail. I love the dreams that begin one night, and continue on like a long saga for years on end. And the ones you can actually feel physically...those are insane! Now I know what it's like to be impaled through the stomach (one of the most real dreams I've ever had).

I love dreams, even the nightmares. I still remember ones I had when I was a child. Next, I want to learn how to control dreams.

I have a bunch or recurring dreams.... The one that keeps bugging me is one where I'm being chased in. I can fly, I can run fast, and go anywhere I like, but "they" still find me [wherever I go]! And it's the very same dream I get once in a while.. and I always wake up quite 'shocked'..

I'm going to give you a few possibilities for what this might mean.

Sometimes a bear represents an over"bear"ing mother or some other figure in your life. Since the bear was chasing you, there may be a possibility that you also feel as if there are some emotions or some stressful situation that is constantly chasing after you that you either do not want to deal with or you find hard to face. It could have something to do with feeling stressed in public due to the bears chasing you in a mall, or that there are many opportunities that have become available to you which is causing you to stress over picking the right one. In another sense, depending upon your spiritual/religious beliefs, the bear may simply be your animal guide trying to catch up to you because you are running away from it. When you are dreaming, try if you can, to not be scared. Try to face the bears head on and see what happens. Does it come to you and try and harm you (if so I'd go with one of my first few interpretations), otherwise, if it befriends you, it is probably your animal guide.

As for the dream where you were stabbed, if you could tell me more about it I can offer more insight into that one.

This could mean that there are things going on in your life that you are trying not to deal with. Is it a situation, or a person? Ask yourself that. If it is a recurring dream, try and stop, and wait to see who or what is chasing you. Also, in this dream do you feel as if you're paralyzed? Do you try to scream out but no sound comes out? If this is the case (again, depending upon your beliefs), your spirit may have exited your body while you are sleeping and is now beginning to re-enter while you are waking up (this is refered to as astral catalepsy). In cases of being chased, always try to think of what is going on in your life. How you feel about life. Is there someone or something that you are having a hard time with? If so, confront that person/project/situation head on and get it over and done with. I promise you that the recurring dream of being chased will slowly stop coming if you start facing your hurdles the moment they show up.

And as always, these are just my interpretations. Always draw what you can from it and form your own opinion. Just because I state the above does not mean it is the ONLY reason. Anybody that says that it has to be their version and not something else is 99.9% of the time going to be either wrong, or just close-minded.

Yay Joey the dream interpreter. ;D :hairysmiley:

I love learning about dreams and stuff, I remember in 7th grade I would always check out books about dreams/sleep. Very interesting stuff. :thumbsup2:

see what you can tell me about this nightmare Joey.

first situation was i was in a bus filled with people. they seemed normal. the bus then banked to the left into another small street and stopped. it continued again and out to the main road. this time going back where we came from and suddenly the whole roof of the bus was missing. everybody in the bus looked like they were burnt. they were screaming but there was no sound. the bus the stopped somewhere dark and i got off. the people were reaching to me as if they were asking for help.

second situation was the same except i was watching this from a different view. this time i was in a separate car. same thing happened. the dream ends after i see the roof disappear and the people turned black.

I had a very stupid nightmare this morning... so I'm driving and I have an accident with a very VERY small (remote control toy sized?) blue car. This little man comes out sreaming and shouting at me. Something happens and I'm suddenly in this building... in a small hallway and 2 obnoxious girls (a thin one, and a full figured one) who I've never met before were there poking fun at me of EVERYTHING I do. They knew everything about me, like stalkers or something. One of them mooned me. But I know why I dreamt the mooning part. Then I was crying a lot in class because I was scared and threatened. One of my old rivals (who turned a "friend" some years later) was in this dream, and she was being "nice" to me. Hmmmm. Edited by CelineSmiles

If you want to start remembering your dreams, I'd recommend this...If you feel as if you had a dream about something, but are having a hard time remembering it don't move around, don't get up, just lay in bed or wherever you sleep and slowly start to try and think of what the last thing you remember is. It's been documented that when a person starts to move around when they wake up the brain is using all its energy to help your body move and wake up that it starts to override the memory of your dreams. I hope this has helped.

Typically what a bus represents in a dream is one of two things.

1) There is a situation in your life where you are dealing with the public often, or a possible upcoming situation that will require your help for many people in public.

2) A bus can sometimes represent a feeling of being overweight.

With that said, is there a situation in your life where you are dealing with the public on a regular basis? What kind of job do you do? Does that relate to the translation I just gave you? As for the roof, if the roof is no longer above you typically it means you are feeling insecure about a person or situation. Since it was the bus's roof it could mean that whatever project you are working on in public is making you nervous or insecure. The fact that you stated "the bus then banked to the left into another small street and stopped. it continued again and out to the main road. this time going back where we came from...," could mean that you feel that you are getting offtrack in your life. Sit down and think of where your life is going and if it's in the direction that you want.

The fact that people have turned black means that they are unknown, or that you may be worrying that they will die. "Black" usually means just like I stated, the unknown or death.

For the second dream, cars 95% of the time will represent where and how we are going in life. Example, if a car in your dream is speeding too fast you may feel as if you're life is going fast or out of control. If it is stuck in one place you may feel that you are stuck and not going where you want to in life. If it is going slow it may represent that you feel you're life is going too slow. In the second dream you had it's very similar to the first. Is there something about yourself and/or your life that you feel insecure (the roof being removed) about?

I hope this has helped.

Nah, it wasn't stupid. Dreams are never stupid. They always help us in life somehow, even if we don't realize it. :)

First, what kind of blue was the tiny car? Was it a light blue, or a dark blue?

Again, cars usually represent how we feel where our life is heading/going. The man could represent yourself and that you are trying to tell yourself to do something. The man could also represent your feelings towards the male gender in general.

The two obnoxious girls probably represent yourself as well. Possibly one version that you wish you were, and the other you wish you could leave behind. The fact that they knew "everything" about you indicates that it is more than likely how you feel about yourself, or how other people see you.

Talk to you later chicken butt. :mdr:

Hey Joe,

insecurity has never been my problem this year. perhaps that the nervous thing was that i needed to do tons of presentations and stuff like that in front of the class. well about the death thing, i was expecting somebody would die. a month later, my uncle died. and strange enough, he was cremated instead of buried.

First, I want to say how sorry I am that your uncle passed. My prayers and throughts are with you.

This is a good example of how some dreams are precognitive, better known as preminitions or visits from loved ones.

As for the insecurity thing, to me personally I view nervousness and insecurity as the same type of thing. So maybe the bus had to do with you being in view of your peers/the public, and then getting off the road you felt that you may have not done the presentation the "right way."

But as always, go with what YOU feel is the right interpretations. I won't be right 100% of the time. :)

Again, I'm sorry for your loss.

thanks Joe. :) well, most of what you've said are quite accurate. i have had many dreams that have came true. some of them are exactly the same when they come true. freaks me out most of the time. especially those dreams that have the "death" thing about. *shivers*

I dream that I had the opportunity to meet His Majesty the King! At his palace!!! What would that mean? My mum read the newspaper and it said that if someone in the family dreamed about the King, it will bring good and health to the family.

Well, there are a few possible meanings to this dream. Depending upon when your mother read that article, it could possible have been a precognitive/preminition dream. If she read it after you had the dream it could be nothing more than you just picking up on something your mother was going to read and that she would tell you. It could also represent the very thing that she told you. You may have some good news and good health coming your way. Also, sometimes a King represents your father/a father figure. If this is the case, is your father not currently in your life as much as you wish he was? If that's the case it may be a wish dream/release dream about your feelings about wanting him more in your life. Also, do you have a strong yearning to meet your King, and I do mean strong. Perhaps more than your peers. If so, it could be nothing more than another wish dream. These are just a few of the possibilities.

If there is more to this dream I'd like to know. It could lead you/me in a more clear route to finding its interpretation. :D

Well according to a 'dream book' (and we know how authentic they are...):

"To dream of a King, you are struggling with your might, and ambition is your master. For a young woman to be in the presence of a King, she will marry a man whom she will fear. To receive favours from a King, she will rise to exalted positions and be congenially wed."

Gawd, that book had to have been written in the 70's. :giggle:
