Posted July 5, 2006 at 03:58 AM Posted July 5, 2006 at 03:58 AM like so many fans out there, i think it would be BEYOND WONDERFUL to actually meet CELINE... however, know that i would not likely be satisfied with a short HELLO, HERE'S MY AUTOGRAPH kinda meeting; conversely, i would prefer something more drawn out, an hour or so where i could tell CELINE just how truly special she (her voice, her heart, her sense of humanity) is to me, and to so many others... My only problem is I'm physically disabled and got put on a wish list to meet her. Although it did take a lot of pushing because I think her management wanted me to give up because I had to wait two years to meet her while she was having Rene-Charles <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hi, you have a disability too? so do i..i am myself hard of hearing and a cerebral palsy...not really physically bad but my cp is mild...don't give up, youll get a chance to meet her too..keep hoping! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's nice to know there are other physical challenged people on the board. I have a spinal cord injury. I would love to know what Céline's position on stem cell research especially since her nephew is a high quad from a skiing accident. I mean that maybe they could've sold VIP tickets for the regular shows as well, even if it was a limited amount per each show. But like I said, that would be a lot of work on Celine's half. In 2001 there were only approximately 100 known cases. I would LOVE to get the chance to meet Celine as well....but then again, who wouldn't? What about if you hang around before she goes in for sound check? I bumped into the Scissor Sisters after they did theirs and they managed to get me into their sold out show and everything, and they're the biggest band in the UK! There must be some way! What if I say I've come all the way from Scotland??? Wanna meet her sooooooo much, have been obsessed since the age of about 11!
