The way yuoi trail off your "r"s too just wondering if french is your 1st language. Um ... also in this song you sing in a quiet voice very thin, would like to hear you using loud and soft voices. What I mean by that is when it comes to louder bits, use your diaphragm. I think there was a post somewhere when we 1st started this forum about how to sing, and sing well. I can hear you are trying, just the pitch especially at the beginning it seems like you are talking instead of singing at that follows through the song too. Maybe work on your pitch listen to yourself and if it don't sound good, do it again. I take many shots at recording and delete and add bit. I'm not saying I'm the best singer here but I know what I like to hear.hope it helps Quote

The only song I can think of that she doesn't overdo it on is the song If I Were You from the Celine Dion album. There's no dinamics in that one and it's good if you are just starting out and want to remain soft until you want to or feel the need to have a more powerful voice. I don't have the backing for that one..but i'm sure you could find it, or even do it acapella (no backing).I hope that helps. Dion that song to start out, until sounds good and you get the softness right. Then start off with some thing that has only a few dinamics and higher/longer notes and build up from there. Posted July 12, 2006 at 04:02 PM Posted July 12, 2006 at 04:02 PM jb1985, i am listening to you song, and the following are my observations: - liked the beginning (the breath you take, on cue, rather perfectly)- your accent is, i guess like CELINE's at times, endearing, but try to work on practicing your pronunciation - you song in key generally, which i appreciate- you display a good command of the song in question- i sense enough emotion in your singing, which not everyone can pull off in a song; you either have it or don't- your timing is very good- a few false notes, especially nearing the end; watch out for those, and edit and/or re-record if needed; even CELINE has to do that (but not always, as we know; god bless her!)- keep singing, man; you're on the right track!- i positively love this song, as i do all of the new songs on ALL THE WAY...A DECADE OF SONG; je viens de me rendre compte du fait que vous venez de la FRANCE... c'est, grosso modo, assez bien, et je t'encourage à continuer... bravo! - ANewDay...
