question about A New Day...Live In Las Vegas album

Is this the recording from the opening night or was it recorded later on? does anyone have the exact recording date?

it is a shame they did not print this in the cd sleeve.

 

it is very usual for live CDs to be made of of tracks from different shows depending on happy the artist is with different performances.

 

personally i prefer live recordings not to be altered as the whole point of a live show is to capture a special moment. all the good things and bad.

 

i think that all live shows should have a date associated with them as it puts them into historical context.

it's imposible to be in september cause at that time they haven't change the costume... and when i was there on 12 dec 03 one of the staff told me that they just changed the costume 3 weeks ago so it's in November ok.....

Hey I've never posted anything here before... My name's Jon from Boston. Anyway, I saw Celine's show in Vegas back in November 2003, I think November 5th, a Wednesday.. Anyway, 10 minutes or so before the performance they told the audience that they were recording that very performance for a CD and DVD release in the near future. I was very excited to be there and be a part of it, so as far as I know the album was recorded live on 11/05/03, unless they mixed performances together from different nights. I hope this helps.
