stevo Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:46 PM Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:46 PM I'm due to see Celine on Sunday 7th May and I'm only being paranoid because I've had 2 previous chances of seeing Celine on the LTAL tour thwarted, but after all these cancellations this week, they're not gonna change the date to celebrate the 500th show as clearly it won't be the 500th show anymore, will they? I figure too much has been arranged eg. competitions etc for them to change it... P.S I feel so bad for all those fans not able to see Celine- and of course, get better soon Celine! Quote
thevoice Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:48 PM Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:48 PM the may 7th show is not the 500th show anyway - it's just a symbolic thing so if celine is going to be fine i'm sure everything will go on as planned. Quote
VanMerlin Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:50 PM Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:50 PM It will still be the 500th show, but it depends now on whether Celine is well enough to perform that night. She should be. Quote
Ronny83 Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:53 PM Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:53 PM Yes, as Van Merlin says, it depends on whether Celine is well enough to perform that night. I hope they won't cancel this great event. Quote The Celine Dion Italian fanbase - CelineDionItalia.com
thevoice Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:54 PM Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:54 PM It will still be the 500th show<{POST_SNAPBACK}> it's not really , as i mentioned. Quote
VanMerlin Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:59 PM Posted April 20, 2006 at 05:59 PM It will still be the 500th show<{POST_SNAPBACK}> it's not really , as i mentioned.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Blah blah blah...you know what I meant. There's so much happening around this "500th" show that there's no way they'd change the date. So it will still be, 'quote unquote' the 500th show. Good grief. Quote
Koolan Posted April 20, 2006 at 06:04 PM Posted April 20, 2006 at 06:04 PM All the plans should follow through as long as Celine is in shape to peform that night. Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Click here to go to the Amazon homepage.
Céline's Blues Posted April 20, 2006 at 06:07 PM Posted April 20, 2006 at 06:07 PM Sorry, Stevo, I just heard Céline cancelled the 500th show along with all the performances through december! OK, kidding, I mean the celebration is still weeks away and albeit Celione's condition is severe, I'm sure she will be fine by the date of the big event. The opening song shoud be: "I came to have a party, open up the bacardi". Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

Céline's Blues Posted April 20, 2006 at 06:55 PM Posted April 20, 2006 at 06:55 PM (edited) Renato, I think one should plug their mouths with something tasty so that there can be peace forever more. I don't know but it works fine for me. Oh, Merlin, the Oracle is doing long hours 24/7. Edited April 20, 2006 at 06:56 PM by siur Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg
