Hello from Malaysia! My name is Winston, a 30yo chinese guy who really likes Celine Dion since her release of Falling Into You. I remember it was her performance of All By Myself in the Billboard Music Award that made me went "OMG.... That was a fantastic *jaw-dropping* performance!" and I got the CD just for that song but eventually fell in love with every single track in that album. I started to get her other English albums since then.

 

I love to do karaoke (at least once a month) with a couple of my friends (karaoke-addict too) and we LOVE to pick some Celine songs to sing our heart out - our recent fave one is I Drove All Night and the karaoke video is actually the original Celine Dion video, not a cheap karaoke video.

 

I got to know about this website thru Vic aka Koolan when I chatted with him in IRC GLAD TO KNOW YOU, KOOLAN! Now, I need to get extra CDroms to store these Celine videos!

The song that "made" me a fan was One heart when I heard it first on the radio. Now our favorite chanteuse plays an important part in my life. Because of Céline I found the best friend I ever had I'm so happy because of this ;=) Togehter with him I have a Céline fan page on which I'm working a lot.

From what I heard from the staff of that karaoke centre, that video and some other ORIGINAL karaoke videos were made by the respective record companies over here and only this centre has the right to use them.

 

And the karaoke track is the exact ORIGINAL track that we hear in the CD. The video isn't dubbed with some self-made instrumental version or something like that.

 

Even Mariah's Through The Rain's karaoke version is available in the centre, and no other places has it.

 

By the way, the karaoke centre is called RED BOX and since you are in China, I am sure you heard of Red Box Karaoke. It is one of the top karaoke bars in Malaysia.

Yes, it is the original video, original track - minus Celine's vocal. It is made by Sony Music Malaysia.
