A proposition to Celine for her new english album

Hello everyone,

 

I just came to my mind, listening to others singers and so.

For example one of the artists I like is sarah brightman her albums have always something special...

They create an album around a theme...

 

For exemple her last album called harem and it was filled with eastern (?) music

She has an album around water (dive) or the moon (la luna)

Lot's of the songs have beautiful music like heavenly songs...

 

What do you think should Celine create an album like this?

 

Second question some songs on sarah's album run in eachother like there's no ending (you can defenitly here it is another song but no pause between it)?

 

I know maybe this is weird but that's what I was thinking on?

 

Wouldn't it be cool if celine did such an album?

She did a 'theme' album. It's called 'Miracle'.

 

Seriously though, I love the fact that her albums are so eclectic. You never get tired of listening to them and it's a great collage of sounds and styles...the many faces of Celine. So many albums are boring by the half-way mark because they are to much into a certain sound or 'theme'.

well..sarah brightman's style is totally different from Celine's. i like this combined kind of songs on celine's albums...and a theme album wouldn't just fit Celine's dynamic personality....

I like Sarah, but I don't think her style would fit to Celine. They are totally different artists and they have different styles. What works for Sarah wouldn't necessarily work for/with Celine. I love the versatile of Celine's albums.

 

like I said, I like Sarah..but her songs are kinda boring. I mean when I've heard one song, I've heard all of them.

 

Celine has her own way to make the album special, whether it's her voice or the songs..but there's always something 'extra' on her albums. Like Simon would say, "there's the wow-factor"...

I don´t know because Sarah has this operatic voice and Celine has this huge colouratura voice well maybe i´m not shure if it´s fits for Celine to make operatic songs i would rather say more like Barbra Streisand or Mariah Carey. Classical Pop-RN,B.

I would love if Celine recorded a Jazz album.

 

I also think it would be interesting if she recorded an album inspired on the folklore of many countries - Celtic songs, Spanish songs, Italian songs, Chinese influenced songs...

 

She needs to innovated, make something unexpected… Shock us Celine!

Going back to the theme topic i call A New Day...Live In Las Vegas a theme because of the way it takes you on a magical trip without stopping especially with It's All Coming Back To Me Now, and Because You Loved Me.

I think another album that had a theme was the 1F&4T album. To me it sounded like a country album, minus "Je lui dirai." The rest of it could have easily been played on any country radio station. Just my opinion.
