Child Safety Network and Klaas Kids Foundation Launch Largest Celebrity Public Service Announcement Campaign

SAN DIEGO, April 13 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to the enormous and growing dangers that exist to young people who use the internet, CSN and KKF are hosting free resources for kids, teens, parents and teachers at

http://www.csn.org.

To make the public aware of these vital free resources Celine Dion, Hilary Duff, Tony Danza, Mandy Moore, Christy Carlson Romano, Donny Osmond, Kathy Ireland, Paula Abdul, Brett Favre, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, the Cast of "7th Heaven," Curt Schilling, Sabine Ehrenfeld, Marc Klaas, and Officer Kim Mercer, have appeared in Public Service Announcements (PSAs) to be launched nation-wide this week.

Together CSN (formed in 1989) and KKF (formed in 1994) have 29 years of full-time commitment to the safety and protection of children.

"I first met Jim Davies from the Child Safety Network in 1993, the day after my 12-year old daughter Polly's body was found," said Marc Klaas.

"Jim's 15-year old son John was also murdered by a kidnapper. Our common goal is to protect other children from such a tragedy. We want to make it impossible for pedophiles and predators to access your children."

Ward Leber, CEO of CSN added: "In addition to the best free resources

on internet safety, everyone who joins http://www.csn.org will have free access to downloadable Fingerprint Cards, Child Photo I.D. Cards and DNA kits. Free access to our national database of registered sex offenders, and the most important safety topics for kids K-12 is also provided."

Broadcasters can view these PSAs at http://www.csn.org/psa.

Broadcasters can request a Beta PSA Reel by e-mail: psa@csn.org
