chart positions dont mean a thing so all of this is pointless - an album can be no 1 for 10 weeks and end up selling 300k and on the other hand an album can reach a much lower position in it's peak yet to sell 1 million copies .

 

what's really important is the numbers - how many copies exactly each and every album sold and not all of those chart poistions.

some of the numbers r undated...i think by now ONCP for example sold a little more than 500k in france but overall nice numbers.

one can only guess how those numbers could look like if there was more promtion

France is the 4th largest music market in the world (second in Europe). Celine was big there.

A question: does anybody knows some chiffres and dates about OFFICIAL Chart in Poland or South Africa. In a swiss newspaper was written only in South Africa Celine Dion have had more Nummer One Albums than in Switzerland. But I don't know if the source was serious.
