The Icelandic idol compettion is just over and the finale was on friday last week and a Snorri 29 won he has a big voice like Axl Rose from Guns And Roses and he just has this huge falsetto range incredible and he has performed songs by his idol AXL ROSE, Robbie Williams FEEL on Friday just amazing.

In the second place was Ína a 18 year old girl from Húsavík in the north of Iceland and on friday she performed these songs.

 

1. Because You Loved Me- Celine Dion.

2. Piece Of My Heart-Janis Joplin.

3. Everything I Own(Allt Sem Ég Á) written by John Reid&Óskar Páll Sveinsson, John has written hits for Westlife, Carrie Underwood Inside Your Heaven, Kelly Clarkson-A Moment Like This, and many more. Óskar has worket with such stars as Westlife, Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter, Club 7, Icelandic girlband Nylon who has an international career now, and he is planning work with superdiva Mariah Carey.

 

When Ína performed Celine´s Because You Loved Me the judges wen´t speachless and they said no one in ICELAND Can sing that song it is so difficult because it was written for Celine and the female Judge Sigríður beinteinsdóttir said i love this song it is so beautiful and one of my favorits songs and i ADORE CELINE she said and i thought if she can sing Whitney´s One Moment in Time, 1 show and I Wanna dance With Somebody Who Loves Me that Ína sang in the 6 th show Sigríður had this song in her mind for very long time because Ína has a huge voice like Mariah Carey-Celine but Celine has a wider range i think.

 

And Celine is very popular in Iceland more than Mariah is and has more fans here i really hope she will come here someday and held a concert like we all do haha.
