fred Posted April 5, 2006 at 09:25 PM Posted April 5, 2006 at 09:25 PM Ok, so getting info about the sale on cdon.com and reading Celine Dion so I go check it out. And it said One Heart Ltd, original prize 159 SEK, now 49 SEK, while the "original" version of One Heart stays at 79 SEK. I thought it was wierd, thought Ltd meant Limited Edition, but I could be wrong. The track list seems to be the same for both versions though. Never knew there was a limited edition of OH (know there was some talk about it before but nothing came) and I don't think it is now. But what do you guys thing it's about? /fred Quote Peace and love to all.
SuperLove4Celine Posted April 6, 2006 at 01:10 AM Posted April 6, 2006 at 01:10 AM I think what happened is that Sony jumped the gun and started mentioning to multiple retailers that there was going to be a limited edition to "One Heart," but then never released it 'coz the original album didn't sell as highly as expected. But yes, I do remember hearing about this. As I recall there was supposed to be some duet with Shania Twain called "Back In Time" or something like that. I may be getting my facts wrong, but I could swear that I remembered hearing that somewhere. It may have just been a rumor that was false. Quote
celinefanonline Posted April 6, 2006 at 03:25 AM Posted April 6, 2006 at 03:25 AM yeah i remember this..they were gonna release special edition / limited edition of OH on 25th March 2003 but they never did so.....and there was like 16 tracks for it... like Cold as Ice and as JosephTNielsen metioned the duet with Shania Back In Time....and so on.... but near the release date they just pull it out..... CDI Posted April 6, 2006 at 10:38 AM Posted April 6, 2006 at 10:38 AM Yeah, there still is a limited edition version out, but its just a way of getting more sales, because its says "limited edition 20 page booklet", but all the other OH releases have the same booklet, so a bit of false advertsing going on there, kinda like "Let's Talk About Love" Enhanced CD!! Next time they'd release OH with 2 pages booklet as a new version. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
fred Posted April 6, 2006 at 04:00 PM Author Posted April 6, 2006 at 04:00 PM I asked cdon.com about this and they said that in order to be as efficient as possible they couldn't write down all details about ther product on their site, and advised me to contact the record labels instead for more info... What is wierd is that the two versions have different catalogue numbers, the Ltd: SME-5108779 and the "original": SME- -5108772. The company for the original version is SME and the Ltd TVS, I don't know what this means. Why do they put a lower prize on one and higher on the other if they are exact the same...? (Other Céline cds on the sale on cdon.com are:A New Day - Live In Las VegasOne Heart - LtdThese Are Special Times most others are kept at a quite low prize but not sale, it is fun to see that 1 Fille & 4 Types, Miracle and On Ne Change Pas is still on high prie levels (same as for newly released albums). The reason why AND LIL is at such a low prize is nobody knows it exists, and what it is about...) /fred Quote Peace and love to all.
